Regarding Stephanie Spear- most of those making claims about her undermining RFKjr or being disloyal to this administration have never even met her and are just repeating and amplifying internet chatter. She is completely loyal to RFKjr, and has been for years to decades. I know her, we have spoken on multiple occasions, and she has always been helpful and responsive to my requests. I saw her just last night. She is not leaving, because there is no reason for her to leave. Both RFKjr and Cheryl Hines have complete faith in her. The only explanation I have for those “influencers” and outrage farmers peddling lies and defamation about Spear is that they are attacking Spear in an attempt to damage her boss. Well, get in line behind Pharma, Big Ag, Big Chemicals, the Insurance industry, the medical guilds etc. Or find another target for generating outrage, clicks, likes and follows. Having said that, rhinos aren’t even safe in zoos or as natural history remnants in a museum. I’ve been involved in wildlife conservation in South Africa for some time now. Around 2015, it became very clear to me that we were witnessing the demise of the rhinos in realtime. As a South African that grew up loving the scrubby bushveld and its wild inhabitants, I could not stand by. This journey has brought many wonderful and interesting people into my life and I’ve been fortunate to have seen how much incredible work is done to save this species. I was flying to Johannesburg this summer when a friend messaged me on the plane telling me about a rhino collaring to take place in the Dinokeng Reserve, just north of Pretoria.
