US Air Force Thunderbirds F-16 Jet Crashes During Training Mission in California An F-16 fighter Jet crashed in Trona, California, on Wednesday during a training exercise for the Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team. Thankfully, the pilot safely ejected from the aircraft, according to Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas, Nevada, where the team is stationed. Video from the scene shows a large fiery plume of smoke following the crash and the pilot parachuting down from the sky. NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nevada — On December 3, 2025, at approximately 10:45a.m., a Thunderbird pilot safely ejected from a F-16C Fighting Falcon aircraft during a training mission over controlled airspace in California. The pilot is in stable condition and receiving follow-on care. The incident is under investigation and further information will be released from the 57th Wing Public Affairs Office.

🚨 URGENT Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this person’s position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens. Dam at Carter Lake - Update 11/9/2025 5:40 p.m. Emergency Management has received a new update from the owners of the dam at Carter Lake.  Two high-volume pumps are pumping water out of Carter Lake and down the dam's spillway to bring the water level down below the damage in the dam's earthen embankment. The property owners expect the lake's water level to be below the hole in the embankment within 8 to 10 hours, and that the water outflow from the embankment's 8-inch hole will cease.  The goal is to reduce the lake's water level about another 2 ft. from where it is currently to give the dam's property owners a better view of the extent of the damage. Pumping crews will be monitoring the pumps overnight, and  Emergency response partners will be monitoring the area of concern throughout the night. The dam's property owners hope to begin conversations with an engineering firm tomorrow.  The County estimates that it may take up to 3 days to know the extent of the damage and receive assurance from the engineer that the dam is stable and it's safe for residents to return home. Persons residing in the evacuation area are encouraged to avoid the area until further notice.  Dunbar Gym Shelter at 1103 Dunbar Avenue in Livingston remains open and is supported by the American Red Cross. **The National Weather Service has extended the Flash Flood Watch for the potential failure of Carter Lake Dam through Monday afternoon.
