There’s news about a newly discovered, still-hidden account freezing feature in Telegram. For users hit with a block, only read-only access will be available. If the block isn’t appealed, the account will eventually be deleted after some time. From what I understand, this is a softer form of account deletion. Currently, a Telegram account can hold gifts bought with real money, and outright deleting violators raises a lot of financial questions. Now, it seems there’ll be time to move to another profile. On the other hand, this makes the point of deletion itself unclear. I’ve written before that the risk of waking up to find your personal account deleted isn’t zero, even if you haven’t broken any rules. Not everyone will get the PAWS airdrop. Let’s start today with something simpler. For example, the update in Tiny Verse. I knew about this update before its release, but there was no rush—I’ll tell you about it now. They’ve added missions. Now, besides farming dust in conquered galaxies, you can send civilizations on fancy missions. The devs wrote a lot about this update, but I won’t quote it—I’ll keep it simple. The mechanic is very straightforward: click on the compass until you find a galaxy with an available mission, send a free civilization to complete it, and somehow, it gets done. Different rewards are available for completing these missions. I really like this format, which leans more on imagination. (I’ll add that we’re doing something very similar for our Tonfo bot. In the next update, we’ll also have quests! ☺️) And I enjoy the game itself—it’s well-made, beautiful, and a classic resource-farming game you can play forever. Donation amounts aren’t limited, but the prospects of getting a return on your investment are hazy. A lot of people are disappointed, especially those who don’t care about the game and just want a quick drop. But I just enjoy playing.
