A masseur who sexually assaulted five women during treatments at a luxury spa in Wokingham has been spared jail. Ibrahim Ali assaulted the women, who had booked in for back and foot massages, at the Nirvana Spa in Sindlesham, near Wokingham, Berkshire, in November and December last year. The women reported that Ali, 36, made them take all their clothes off and put on paper underwear, even if they did not want to, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said. He pulled the towel covering their bodies down lower than necessary and touched them inappropriately. The CPS said all of the women reported Ali’s behaviour to staff at the spa, but it was when one of them went to the police in December 2024 that an investigation was launched. Ali, who previously admitted to the charges, was sentenced to two years in jail suspended for two years at Reading Crown Court, sitting at Reading Magistrates’ Court, on Monday, court officials said.
