Document Viewer on iOS. On iOS, common file formats like .pdf, .xls and .docx are opened in separate tabs of the Telegram Browser. This lets you easily reference documents while you chat – without losing your place.

Super Channels. Channel owners can make their feed look more like a group – letting admins post as their own profiles or other channels. This allows multiple authors to personalize their posts – or combine communities from several content creators. Admins in Super Channels are still anonymous – they are never visible unless they explicitly choose to post with their own profile. To enable this functionality, go to Channel Settings > Administrators, turn on Sign Messages and Show Authors' Profiles.

Paid Media for Bots. Bots are able to send paid media – to support their services and automate businesses. Unlocking a post with Stars gives you lifetime access to its content via Settings > My Stars. Developers can find more information about implementing paid media on this page.

Star Subscriptions. Content creators can make special invite links that allow users to join a channel for a monthly payment in Telegram Stars. This lets content creators make exclusive channels with extra content or special perks – in addition to any free or public channels they may already have.

Star Reactions. Users can directly support their favorite channels by sending them Telegram Stars with a ⭐️ Star reaction. You can tap the ⭐️ icon repeatedly to increase the number of Stars – or hold down to set a specific amount. Each post with Star Reactions shows a leaderbord – where the top donators can choose to display their profile or remain anonymous.

Story Covers. When posting a video story to your profile, you can choose which frame to use as its cover photo. The My Profile section in Settings allows you to pin 3 stories to your profile, add past stories from your archive – and manage their privacy settings.

Weather Widget in Stories. You can share the weather in your stories – with an animated widget that automatically converts temperature and shows moon phases at night. More widgets can be found in the 'Stickers' section of the story editor – to add music, links, locations and more.

Flash for Video Messages. Video messages have a front flash to give you extra light when recording in the dark. To enable flash, hold the 📷 camera icon to start recording – then swipe up to lock recording and tap the ⚡ flash icon.

Gifting Telegram Stars. Telegram Stars can be purchased for your contacts – sending them a gift to spend in their favorite mini apps and channels.

Sharing Mini Apps to Stories. Mini apps can generate custom content for users to share as a story directly from the mini app. Developers can go here for more details on adding this feature to their apps.

Mini App Store. The 'Apps' tab in Search shows a list of apps you use and popular mini apps – to discover new games, services and more. Featured mini apps display their number of monthly active users and developers can add video demos and screenshots to their app's profile.

Telegram Browser. Pages you open with the in-app browser can be collapsed and reopened – including websites, instant view articles and mini apps. The browser also supports decentralized websites hosted on TON, making them accessible from all Telegram mobile and desktop apps. You can bookmark any site for later browsing – instantly adding it to your Saved Messages.

⭐️ Link Widget in Stories. Premium users can highlight a link in their story by adding it to a stylish widget – with multiple layouts and color options. Link widgets, location tags and more can be added to your story from the sticker tab in the story editor

Search Stories by Location. Users on vacation or at an event can add a location tag to their story to show where they were. Tapping a location tag opens other public stories from the same place – to see more concert selfies or restaurant recommendations. Only stories that a user is allowed to view appear in search results. Private stories are never included in public searches.

Search Stories by Hashtag. Tapping hashtags in story captions lets you browse public stories with matching tags. If you're a creator or business, you can use hashtags to grow your audience organically and reach new customers.

Mini App Bar. You can collapse mini apps to check chats or open other mini apps – and seamlessly return without losing your progress. To minimize an app, swipe down on its header to minimize an app, then tap the app bar to reopen any of your active apps.

Pay for Content with Stars. Channel subscribers can use Telegram Stars to unlock exclusive photos and videos – directly supporting their favorite content creators. Unlocking a post gives you lifetime access to its content – even if the post is deleted or you unsubscribe from the channel.

Telegram Stars. You can make purchases and support content creators with Telegram Stars – a seamless way to pay for products in mini apps or unlock posts in your favorite channels. Bot developers and content creators can use the Stars they earn to receive rewards or place subsidized ads.

Collapsible Quotes. Long portions of text sent with quote formatting can be collapsed and expanded. This makes messages more compact – to read and to write. When writing, tap to ↔️ collapse the quote and save space in the message field. When reading, tap 🔽 to expand the quote and 🔼 to collapse it and keep scrolling.

Hashtag Search. Hashtags can be used to quickly filter your chats for messages containing that tag. Tapping a hashtag also allows you to see results from public channels – helping you discover new creators and browse popular topics.
