TRUMP, SHADOW WORK, AND DIVINE WILL Donald Trump is an excellent archetypal shadow projection case study for our times. He carries immense psychic pressure from people’s positive and negative projections, which speaks for the strength of his whole being. This statement does not imply that I see him as a “good” or “bad” person (or any other label). It’s not a judgment of his character. I’m speaking about unseen psychic energies and cosmic forces in the context of thought projections and the psyche. Most people would have already crumbled, died of a disease, become drug addicts, or committed suicide under the load of these intense psychic projections. As I’ve written in a previous article, he’s the target of the projections from the left, conservatives, and the truther community alike – billions of people on a global level. One side sees him as Hitler and dictator, or controlled op, shill, Lucefarian, or false savior. The other side sees him as the savior/messiah who can’t do wrong. Most people are caught in these oversimplified good/bad either/or projections. If you know how to do shadow work, hold the tension of opposites within [key concept!], and withdraw your projections, you will start to see him as he IS [the arising “third force” beyond the black-and-white, good or bad duality], not as you think he is or want him to be. You will see his necessary cosmic function in the context of the evolution of consciousness and how the Divine uses him as an instrument despite all the distortions. You will see perfection in imperfection beyond labels. Just like the Divine uses you as an instrument as well, despite your ignorance, stupidity, blindness, weaknesses, selfishness, laziness, all the lies you tell yourself about yourself, and many other traits we all carry to varying degrees and often only project externally. But you won't recognize the higher Will as long as you are identified with your ego personality - the little self that believes itself to be in charge. ----------- "Behind this petty instrumental action of the human will, there is something vast and powerful and eternal that oversees the trend of the inclination and presses on the turn of the will. There is a total Truth in Nature greater than our individual choice. This apparently self-acting mechanism of Nature conceals an immanent divine Will that compels and guides it and shapes its purposes. But you cannot feel or know that Will while you are shut up in your narrow cell of personality, blinded and chained to your viewpoint of the ego and its desires. For you can wholly respond to it only when you are impersonalized [embodied] by knowledge and widened to see all things in the self and in God and the self and God in all things. " – Sri Aurobindo ----------- Yet, you, too, have something to provide and give to the world—a specific purpose that is unique to you as you become more receptive to the Divine impulse expressing itself uniquely through you. It connects you to the truth of your soul being—to stand up for something greater than you and not just point out what you think is wrong with the world. But can you even hear or sense the Divine impulse within you, or are you so entrenched in your outer crust that you even reject His call? ----------- “If we can stay with the tension of opposites long enough —sustain it, be true to it—we can sometimes become vessels within which the divine opposites come together and give birth to a new reality.” – Marie-Louise von Franz ----------- This is an extremely difficult internal process. It’s not an intellectual exercise of “neutrality” or “balance.” It’s not a moral question and cannot be reached via logic and the mind. It’s not a thought process, and it doesn't happen overnight. Anyone who claims they don’t project, don’t get triggered, don’t have a shadow, or are “done with shadow work” [huge red flag!] doesn’t grasp what shadow work is and is lying to themselves. It would literally imply that you are “enlightened” without any unconsciousness.
