✅ Keep their environments clean
✅ Drink or use water that is boiled and stored safely
✅ Ensure food is cooked and stored in a clean and safe environment
✅ Avoid open defecation

Of the 3,036 confirmed cases of #diphtheria recorded so far in 2024, most of the cases occurred among children aged 1 - 14 years, with those aged 5-14 years bearing most of the brunt of the disease.
