With 69,000 followers and a lot of engagement I was making about $600 every two weeks in ad revenue. At that rate, if I wanted to sit on X all day, I could make about $16,000 a year passively just by posting. Now extrapolate that to someone with 690,000 followers. To make $160,000 a year sitting around and posting on X. This is why you see huge accounts regurgitating bullshit, or posting things that cause people to engage the most. That is DOOM - people gather around it like moths to light. You often see this behavior with someone who has no real political ties to MAGA before they wound up on the spot over a health freedom/J6 issue and got adopted by the larger movement. They are the ones that post: “Trump didn’t do XYZ and now I’m burning all my gear and it looks like everyone in (blue state) feels the same way!” 750k people, including leftists who live it, like it, share it, quote it, and if it gets a bite from Musk, take it to the bank.

I have 69,000 subscribers on X. I haven’t used the platform since April. I found it occupied too much of my time, sent me on clicking expeditions that led to nowhere and stressed me out. I used it a lot during the 2024 election cycle and it was important for putting out real information to counter the lies. Turns out half the world found me on election night.

First and foremost, Elon Musk did the free world a service by purchasing Twitter. It carried a lot of weight in countering media narratives, election fraud, and changing minds. It still does. It’s not his fault the platform is a breeding ground for insane ideas and the progression of anxious and erratic behaviors that have led us to an extreme inability to make accurate conclusions or organize constructive movements for positive change.

Day 3 of an endless barrage of adults melting down over blue state election returns without considering decades of historical outcomes, or realizing they’re falling right into the “blue wave” narrative trap. More access to information than any group of people in world history, and less discernment than any other.

I’ve got one last thing to say about yesterday’s election results. If your default response is “Trump is done” if Democrats win in 2026, that’s loser speak. First and foremost, unrealistic expectations will bite you in the ass every time. The President’s party has lost seats in 20 of 23 midterms since 1934. If, by chance, the GOP holds the House, it will run against the historical odds significantly. Second, does anyone really believe impeachment efforts will do anything but drive more people to our side? Seriously - if you were given the choice of Trump winning in 2024, but only if Dems win the house in 2026 - or Harris wins - then everyone reading this post would have taken the first offer. Want to change idiot minds? Take the risk and talk to people outside your bubble.

The online meltdown over yesterday’s elections and attaching any long term outlook to it whatsoever, rather than gleaning what few lessons there are to be gleaned, is no different than if instead of CA NJ NY and VA, the elections were in AL AR IA and SD and the left melted down over them. Have we already forgotten Beshear in Kentucky in 2023 and Trump +30 the next year? That’s how this crap works.

This is what I mean when I say the cheating is baked in. Many states have moved to legalize much of the 2020 cheat and keep the relaxed standards permanently. While I maintain VA Gov would always go blue, most people had Spanberger in high single digits for polling, even good pollsters. I put her in the 5-10 point range. Here you have balanced results for early and Election Day voting but D+47 in the “mail.” It is front loaded and preferable to getting caught with dump trucks of ballots at midnight. And this is probably why the murder loving AG candidate for the Dems won.
