Louis criticises the governments plan for mandatory Digital ID- Stating it lacks a “clear public mandate”. ✅ “It's a programme that needs to be decided at the ballot box, not in the company boardroom.” ✅ If the big tech firms are pulling out on this, are the government alone? He is right- Private firms should not be dictating such a major programme.
