I found this stranded baby mud turtle on day 7 of releasing my stones. The poor little bugger was on a dangerous road drying out in the sun and heat, far from any fresh water or any pond close by. The little guy was exhausted and pretty close to giving up or soon would have been run over by a car. I picked him up and placed him in a safe space out of the sun and got some fresh water and gave him a little light from above and some time to restore. I found him a pond and a new home. Repost from vibrantlynourished Singing to my stones on Day Four of the @medicalmedium Collecting Stones Meditation Journey 🥀 I’ve been through a lot in life that is not easy to put into words. I think many if not most people who have gone through suffering and emotional hardship feel this way; like there’s some experience inside of you that‘s impossible to be wholly expressed. I sang to my stones knowing that the sound of our voice carries information from our soul about the hurts and hardship we have been through in our lives. The stones pick up on these frequencies… which is what makes this exercise so special. I didn’t feel like I had to struggle to express myself or find the right words to be understood… which is a big deal to me. I didn’t have to fight to be heard. I named my stones Fear, Disappointment, & Abandonment… three emotions I struggle with from all the pain, losses, and hardships I’ve experienced in my life. The connection we form with our stones as we carry them with us helps draw emotional hurts out of us so we can be freed up. In a couple of days it will be time to release these stones back into nature, into living water that will cleanse and purify the emotions they have absorbed from me over the course of this week 🪨🪨🪨
