🔦 Is decentralization left in crypto? (conspiracy theory) Friends, in recent days I have been actively watching the development of ETFs, the withdrawal of BTC from Grayscale to the exchange and how the BlackRock ETF is starting to gain momentum in the market. Yesterday, by the way, they surpassed the Grayscale ETF in trading volumes for the first time. 🔎 And then I wondered: isn't Grayscale deliberately giving leadership to BlackRock? Now they are actively transferring their BTC to Coinbase (exchange), and no one knows what will happen to them next. Are they sold, are they transferred, or what is done with them? It is not known. Or maybe Grayscale is using the exchange to lose track of transfers? After all, Coinbase won't disclose information like that for sure, because they have long been NOT in favor of decentralization and have been communicating with government agencies on a one-to-one basis. 🗣 So I guess what I'm saying is that Grayscale translates its bits for BlackRock? And why not? Because it is BlackRock that will now be the "leading voice" for BTC and manage this market in the real world. They will dictate their rules of the game. They will own the largest amount of BTC (own = control=manipulate). By the way, they already own a large portion of the mining companies. Now anyone who wants to change some rules of the game in the market will have to deal with BlackRock. Who can become their rival? How is the AI sector doing in crypto?💡 Friends, I think you have also noticed that artificial intelligence is everywhere we look nowadays. Smart Wallet buys MATIC 🟣 In one of my posts earlier I told you that my team and I are actively monitoring smart wallets. Today we once again noticed a pattern, so I decided to share it with you. Negativity on ETH - a sign for a reversal 🔹 Friends, I think not all of you were able to catch what is happening with ETH right now, so I decided to briefly describe the situation. The main thesis on the agenda is FUD on Ethereum. 📔If you've noticed, every day now there is more and more negativity towards ether. Just a couple of days ago, there were rumors in the media that some validators in the blockchain network had fallen off and Ethereum was having technical problems. The market is going down | blood in the market 📈 Friends, hello everyone. I think everyone has already seen the fall in BTC. Today the price fell to $38.550 at most. To be honest, I did not expect such a fall today, but the market decided differently. And for many people it is not clear: why it happened? Therefore, in this post I decided to highlight all the factors that could have influenced it. 📝 Let's break down what's going on: • Grayscale are selling 10k-25k BTC per day, with outflows increasing rather than slowing down; • Next, Mt.Gox is expected to unlock 200k BTC, which could come on the market in the next 2 months and go on sale too; • The US government owns about 100k BTC related to Silk Road and have announced plans to sell half in four installments; • Grayscale owns $7-8 billion worth of $ETHE, which until recently was trading at a discount of up to 50%. While all of this was expected even before the ETFs were adopted, it is now that we have started to fall. This and similar FUDs are now being actively circulated on the web, but still this situation is more like a correction and landing of excess buyers (longs). 📍Therefore, after the price converges to the $38,000 area, I expect a return to the $42,000 zone. Something is burning in the blockchain 🔥 Limited token issuance is a key element in project economics. Many teams, especially after Ethereum developers implemented token burning mechanism, try to pay special attention to maintaining deflation. So let's get to the bottom of it - why do projects burn already issued tokens! 🥅 Token burning is the process of removing coins from circulation. Developers destroy part of the tokens, thus reducing the total number, bringing them additional value, and thus value (but it doesn't always work). It is important to consider that only the project's own assets are used for burning. A situation in which your tokens can be "deleted" without warning is not possible. For example, sources of tokens can be: • а portion of the project's profits; • transaction fees; • wrapped tokens when they are deployed into the original coin. 🛠 How burning occurs It usually happens by sending tokens to a "burn address", after which they are completely out of circulation. • A burn address is a "dead" wallet that cannot be accessed because it has no private key. Accordingly, it is impossible to get tokens from such a wallet. An example of such an address is 0x000...000dEaD. • Each project can implement the burning process in its own way. For example, Binance uses two mechanisms at once. First, burning a part of BNB received for gas payments in the BNB Chain. Second, automatic quarterly burning. This approach will reduce the total BNB supply by 50% in the long term. ❕ Keep in mind that the burn mechanism is not a panacea to price growth / stability. Big whales are buying AAVE 🟡 Friends, as you know I work in many areas of the crypto market. One of them is keeping an eye on large and smart wallets. I also call them "Whale Addresses". BTC review | my forecast 💰 Friends, hello everyone. I decided to do a review on Bitcoin for you today, as a lot of interesting things happened there in the last couple of days. • Yesterday BTC decided to punish buyers again and made a sharp fall from $42,600 to $41,000. Despite the fall, I still believe that the market mood is positive and I don't see any reasonable reasons for further fall. Where to store crypto? | main rules 💡 Friends, as liquidity returns to the market and new people come in, so does the number of scammers. Scamming both experienced cryptans and hamsters. Therefore, I will give you some personal not banal recommendations that will increase your chances that you will not be scammed: 1️⃣ Use only licensed software on PCs (windows included). I have seen many times that even experienced cryptans use "pirated" windows. 2️⃣ Do not connect to any sites using your main storage wallet and do not sign any transactions. The storage wallet is for deposits and withdrawals only. 3️⃣ Do not use a separate phone as a cold wallet. Even if it's a new iPhone that you just bought and use as a wallet - you don't need to do that. By not regularly updating the operating system you put your phone at risk of being hacked. Buy a better cold wallet. 4️⃣ Store your seed phrases not digitally. And of course in a safe place, not in a notebook you always have on your desk. 5️⃣ Never use this passphrase for other devices or wallets. For example, you have created SafePal wallet, so use it only through SafePal. Do not add seed phrases to Trust or Metamask, even for one action. 6️⃣ For especially large sums it is better to use Gnosis Safe (not advertising). It is a storage, withdrawal from which is possible only when a transaction is signed by a certain number of users. This is what is called multi signature. A new investment idea from me 🥅 Friends, hello everyone. Today I would like to share with you one rather risky investment idea on XAI token. Let me tell you right away, this is not a financial recommendation, but just my personal opinion. XAI is a recently launched (about a week ago) project, which today my team and I analyzed and found something interesting. 📝 To begin with, there is information that market maker "GSR Markets" has received 18.8 million XAI tokens. But what does this give us? On the recent listing of the project, we didn't see the XAI prices expected from the team and a lot of people sold their tokens that were received from airdrop. It seems to me that GSR and other big players are accumulating XAI at the moment in order to pamp it in the future. And here's why I think so: At the moment, the project team has sold 32,000 node keys (this was necessary to get airdrop) and earned 10k ETH ($25 million). And at the current token price it is not very profitable to buy a key (it costs 1.08 ETH), and it is unlikely that people will actively buy them. 💡But what if the project team bought a lot of XAI from those who sold their Airdrop and in the near future they will make a manipulation and pump the token 3x-4x-5x with the help of their market maker, adding to this good news: the release of games from the project, staking and etc. In this case, a lot of people will start talking about XAI token and its node. I'll say right away, things are pretty good. • After the local final impulse on bitcoin during the start of trading of the first ETFs, we see a prolonged decline. Many people have different thoughts and arguments on this topic, as they do not know much about the crypto market. That's why I made a separate post with the analysis of ETF myths. Let's go! (the topic is not simple) 🟠Myth 1: opened the doors for whales - finally big money can buy Bitcoin. Access to BTC products on U.S. exchanges has been around until now. There are bitcoin futures ETFs trading on the NYSE and CME, starting in October 2021. And a spot ETF on BTC appeared in February 2021 in Canada. Buying BTC indirectly in the U.S. market could also be obtained through ETFs on mining companies, whose cash flow depends on mining volumes and the market value of BTC. 🟠Myth 2: BlackRock has $9trn - can you imagine what will happen now? (they will start actively buying BTC) BlackRock CEOs put on a great show before the launch, talking about the prospects of BTC capitalization growth. Funds make money on commissions, it is important for them to attract attention to the product (their ETF) and trading volume. At the same time, the appearance of the BTC ETF does not mean that JP Morgan will buy it for all its clients. The key task of the funds for the coming quarters is not to lose marketing budget and capture the largest market share. 🟠Myth 3: ETFs + halving = huge growth of BTC Maybe!!! But how is halving 2024 different from previous ones? Macro conditions Global risk demand is a derivative of liquidity. Liquidity in the system is directly dependent on the Fed's monetary policy.
