If anyone asks for this information to verify your wallet or synchronize your wallet with something, it’s a scam. Keep your seed phrase secret to protect your assets. 3. Wallet verification on suspicious websites 🌐⚠️ Be cautious if asked to verify your wallet on a special website by connecting your wallet and signing a transaction. This is likely a scam, and you could lose all your tokens after doing so. 4. “Airdrops and free rewards” 🎁🚨 Scammers often lure users with promises of free tokens or rewards. This technique is very popular on twitter in a comment section.These offers can lead you to fake websites where, after connecting your wallet, your money might be stolen. Verify the legitimacy of such offers before proceeding. 5. “Looks like real” scam websites 📸😈 Scammers create fake websites that mimic real crypto projects and share links through comments or community chats. These websites can look very convincing, so always double-check the address before connecting your wallet. 6. “It was official announcement” 📢🧐 Even official social media accounts of respectable crypto projects can be hacked. If you see announcements offering amazing deals like airdrops or token sales that seem too good to be true, verify them with admins through other official channels, because many people lost all their money because they had blind trust/greed to these fake offers. 7. “Celebrities never lie” 🌟🕵️ Celebrity accounts promoting crypto projects might be hacked or fake. If a celebrity is pushing a project that promises huge returns, be skeptical. Double-check the legitimacy before investing. 8. “Accidentally shared seed phrase” 📧💰 If someone shares a seed phrase with a balance showing a few thousand dollars, it’s a trap. You’ll be asked to send gas tokens to withdraw the money, but once you do, those tokens will be stolen, and you won’t get anything in return. 9. “I got a new token” 🪙❗ Strange tokens might appear in your wallet, but trying to sell them can lead to losing money in fees. These tokens often have restrictions in their smart contracts, so it’s best to ignore them. 10. “Last transaction trap” 📑🔍 After making a transaction, you might receive a tiny transaction from the wallet that looks very similar to yours (usually the last 4 digits are the same).
