📦 Apple has loaded cargo airplanes with iPhones in advance 📰 The Times of India reports that 5 airplanes full of iPhones were shipped in late March to the U.S. from India, where the company's factories are located. ↗️ Apple is looking for ways to mitigate the impact of new U.S. duties to avoid raising prices on its devices 📰 As Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports, Apple isn't afraid to raise prices on its devices because of the new duties, but it is looking for ways not to. The options being considered are:

1️⃣ Negotiating with component suppliers to lower prices. (the second photo shows a breakdown of iPhone 16 Pro component costs by country of supply) 2️⃣ Covering part of the costs with their own profits. 3️⃣ Temporary price adjustment and supply chain diversification (but not moving production to the US).

🇨🇳 The main problem is dependence on Chinese supplies, which are subject to retaliatory duties.
