Car vocabulary: Parts of a car
1. Headlight: a powerful light at the front of a motor vehicle or railway engine
2. Tail light: a red light at the rear of a motor vehicle, train, or bicycle
3. Wind shield: a transparent screen (as of glass) that protects the occupants of a vehicle
4. Indicator: a flashing light or (formerly) other device on a vehicle to show that it is about to change lanes or turn
5. Headrest: a padded part extending from or fixed to the back of a seat or chair, designed to support the head.
6. Bumper: a horizontal bar fixed across the front or back of a motor vehicle to reduce damage in a collision
7. Rear view mirror: a small angled mirror fixed inside the windscreen of a motor vehicle enabling the driver to see the vehicle or road behind
8. Side view mirror: mirror found on the exterior of motor vehicles for the purposes of helping the driver see areas behind and to the sides of the vehicle, outside of the driver's peripheral vision (in the 'blind spot')

Conjunction: a word that joins together sentences, clauses, phrases, or words.
1. For - क्योंकि
We sometimes use for as a conjunction meaning ‘because’. We use it in very formal, and often literary, contexts:
E.g. ‘We love God, for he first loved us.
2. And - और
Used to connect words of the same part of speech, clauses, or sentences, that are to be taken jointly.
E.g. Bread and butter.
3. Nor - और न
Used before the second or further of two or more alternatives (the first being introduced by a negative such as ‘neither’ or ‘not’) to indicate that they are each untrue or each do not happen.
E.g. They were neither cheap nor convenient.
4. But - लेकिन
Used to introduce a phrase or clause contrasting with what has already been mentioned.
E.g. He stumbled but didn't fall.
5. Or - या
Used to link alternatives.
E.g. A cup of tea or coffee.
6. Yet - फिर भी
But at the same time; but nevertheless.
E.g. The path was dark, yet I slowly found my way.
7. So - इसलिये
And for this reason; therefore.
E.g. It was still painful so I went to see a specialist.
'Tourism' Vocabulary Words:
1. Attraction (कोई जगह जहां आप जा सकते हैं जोकि मज़ेदार हो): somewhere or something you can visit that is interesting or enjoyable
2. Guide (जो लोगों को जगह के बारे में जानकारी देता है और उन्हें जगह दिखता है): someone whose job is to look after a group of people who are visiting a place and give them information about it
3. Heritage centre (जहाँ से लोगों को जगह और वहां के लोगों के बारे में जानकारी मिलती है): a building where tourists and other visitors get information about a place and its people, including information about the natural features of the area
4. Tourist visa (जिस पर आप किसी देश में जा सकते हैं थोड़े समय के लिए): a visa that allows you to visit a country for a short time on holiday
5. Travel agent (जो लोगों की यात्रा की योजना बनाते हैं): someone whose job is to help people plan holidays and make travel arrangements.
6. Kayaking (एक तरह की बोट को पानी में चलाना, उस बोट को कायाक कहते हैं और इस क्रिया को कायकिंग): the use of a kayak for moving across water. A kayak is a low-to-the-water, canoe-like boat in which the paddler sits facing forward, legs in front, using a double-bladed paddle to pull front-to-back on one side and then the other in rotation

E.g. My old Fiat has become a museum piece. I am going to buy a new car.
3. The show must go on: This expression suggests that an event must go on even if there are problems.
E.g. From the hospital bed, he went straight to work. After all, the show must go on.
4. To run the show: To run the show is to be in charge of an organization or activity.
E.g. He joined the company as a lower division clerk, but now he is running the show.
5. To sing your heart out: To sing your heart out is to sing with more passion or intensity.
E.g. He only had a small audience; still he sang his heart out.
6. To be star-studded: If an event is attended by famous people from the entertainment industry, it is often referred to as a star-studded event.
E.g. The award night was a star-studded event.
7. To steal the show: To steal the show is to do something that will win the greatest praise.
E.g. She stole the show with her marvelous performance.
