One immigration attorney says he has seen a ‘40-50% drop in H-1B inquiries’ and the pipeline for temporary or legal foreigners is drying up in many respects, tho the visa program itself is enduring as part of law.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office shared surveillance video from inside the county jail in Flint showing inmates gathering together inside a housing pod for a Christmas prayer. In the video, inmates form a circle, hold hands, and recited the Lord’s Prayer. The sheriff said the moment happened without any direction from jail staff. “I’ve NEVER posted a jail surveillance video like this one.” Sheriff Christopher R.
