A vehicle drove into a crowd of people waiting outside a nightclub in Los Angeles early Saturday, July 19, 2025, injuring 30 people, according to the Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD) .  At least three victims are in critical condition. The incident occurred on Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood. The vehicle also struck a taco cart and a valet stand. Paramedics discovered one of the patients had a gunshot wound, according to Captain Adam Van Gerpen, public information officer for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the incident to determine the cause and whether it was intentional or connected to the gunshot victim.

This is not a typical storm system—there is a real and growing threat of major overnight flooding. ‼️PLEASE SHARE to alert neighbors and loved ones in Kerrville and the Hill Country 🌧️ Key Details: 6–12 inches of rainfall possible in localized areas, including Kerr County, with hourly rainfall rates up to 3 inches. Some forecast models even suggest totals could exceed 10 inches before sunrise. Recent rains have left the ground saturated, meaning flash floods could develop rapidly. 🟠 The National Weather Service has extended a Flood Watch through 7 PM Sunday for: Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Burnet, Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding Hill Country Expect scattered thunderstorms tonight, with widespread totals of 1–3 inches, and much higher in some locations ⚠️ Why This Is So Dangerous in Kerrville: The Guadalupe River and nearby creeks are still sensitive from earlier flooding. I wonder how loud it’ll get if Trump could pull this off. It will be interesting. President Trump is asking everyone to share this, in three days, most people in the United States will have seen the message. This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party. The TRUMP Rules: Congressional Reform Act of 2017 1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And no more perks go with them. 2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!). 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege, NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. Term limits and treat them like a regular citizen! When SCOTUS ruled that Federal judges cannot impose nationwide injunctions, it left the door open for judges to try to stop Trump via class action. Predictably, a federal judge has barred the Trump administration from enforcing the executive order limiting birthright citizenship. U.S. District Judge Joseph Laplante in Concord, New Hampshire, made the ruling after immigrant rights advocates implored him to grant class action status in a lawsuit they filed seeking to represent babies whose citizenship status would be threatened by the EO. Now, SCOTUS has an opportunity to define the parameters of class action.
