Hero of the Week: March 10, 2025: Matt Taibbi From fiscal years 1998 to 2015, $21 trillion went missing from the U.S. Departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development (DOD and HUD). After Catherine and Professor Mark Skidmore published several landmark reports documenting this astounding fact, the government forestalled any further research into the missing money by promulgating, in October 2018, Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board Statement 56 (“SFFAS 56” or, as we refer to it, “FASAB 56”). FASAB 56 is an administrative policy that essentially lets the government keep secret books in contravention of the federal financial management laws enshrined in the Constitution. People often ask us, “Why does no one else ever talk about the missing money?” In early 2019, intrepid journalist Matt Taibbi did. After the implementation of FASAB 56, Taibbi not only gained mastery over the complex topics of “classified money-moving” and failed Pentagon audits but wrote two excellent articles about these developments at Rolling Stone. Solari Is Not on Facebook—Don’t Be Persuaded Otherwise by Scammers The Solari Report has zero presence on Facebook, but a handful of scammers who have created fake Solari and Catherine Austin Fitts profiles would like the undiscerning public to think otherwise. Unfortunately, the scammers’ aim appears to be to co-opt the Solari brand in order to promote various financial fraud schemes. Solari’s multiple requests to Facebook that it take down the fake profiles have been met with silence from the social media giant. Apparently, Facebook is not concerned that its platform is being used to help financial fraudsters. Please do not interact with or message anyone impersonating Catherine or the Solari Report on Facebook. Many of the brightest lights in the New Media are encountering similar problems with fake accounts set up on various social media platforms. For a while, the Solari Report also had to do battle with fake channels on YouTube, but there, our complaints were heard. We urge consumers of social media to be very discriminating. In particular, please question sites that market “too good to be true” financial investments, even if they appear to be sharing advice from New Media brands that you trust.

As the film explains, homeopathy is used by an estimated 10% of the world’s population (stated another way, it is the second most common form of medicine worldwide); it has a two-century-plus clinical track record, stands on a large and still-growing body of rigorous research, and is able to help people with conditions for which Western allopathic medicine has no answers—and yet most of the people who could benefit from it (especially Americans) either have never heard of it or dismiss it as “quack medicine.” Clearly, it is the filmmakers’ hope that some of those people will watch this film and change their mind. Pushback of the Week: February 24, 2025: Louisiana Stops Promoting Mass Vaccination On February 13, Louisiana Surgeon General sent shock waves through the conventional public health establishment in his state and beyond by releasing a memo that instructs Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) staff to stop promoting mass vaccination. The memo puts the kibosh on the types of vaccine arm-twisting that LDH previously conducted via media campaigns, community health fairs, and similar avenues. Historically, the office of Surgeon General existed only at the federal level, but over the last two decades, a handful of states have established a state-level equivalent. In June 2024, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry created the position and named physician, veterinarian, and politician Dr. Ralph Abraham to fill it; from 2015 to 2021, Abraham represented Louisiana’s 5th congressional district. As LDH Surgeon General, Abraham is “co-equal” to the LDH Secretary and a lead architect of health policy in the state. In a powerful news release issued the day after the memo, in which Abraham and Deputy Surgeon General Dr. Wyche Coleman, III outlined the broad strokes of their public health philosophy, the two indicated a willingness, both practical and courageous, to shake up the medical-pharmaceutical complex, prompting many in mainstream medicine and pharma to scream in protest.
