Vulnerability here. I suppose I’ll always be involved in the political debate and will encourage people to take part. I’ve got a widely read newsletter, am looped in where I need to be, and am about to have a published book. But my heart is to do something bigger and for others. Rachel and I want to open one or more veterans retreats to be continuously funded for operations by grants. But we need to buy the properties first. Then we can provide first in class recreation, therapy, counseling, and family bonding time at no cost to veterans and active duty service members. It’s something we don’t have the money to do ourselves, so if it were to happen, it would be a God thing. We are working some of this on our end.
