Naver will acquire Upbitโs parent company, Dunamu, through a share-swap deal valued at $14.5 billion.
The successful merger would give Naver control over more than 70% of South Koreaโs domestic cryptocurrency trading volume.
โก๏ธ The consolidation with Naver is expected to provide Upbit with the necessary support for a future Nasdaq listing and expansion into the U.S. market.
