✝እንኳን አደረሰን!!! ¹ አቤቱ፥ አሕዛብ ወደ ርስትህ ገቡ፤ የቅድስናህንም መቅደስ አረከሱ፥ ኢየሩሳሌምንም እንደ መደብ አደረጉአት። ² የባሪያዎችህንም በድኖች ለሰማይ ወፎች መብል አደረጉ፥ የጻድቃንህንም ሥራ ለምድር አራዊት፤ ³ ደማቸውንም በኢየሩሳሌም ዙሪያ እንደ ውኃ አፈሰሱ፥ የሚቀብራቸውም አጡ። ⁵ አቤቱ፥ እስከ መቼ ለዘላለም ትቈጣለህ? ቅንዓትህም እንደ እሳት ይነድዳል? ⁶ ስምህን በማይጠሩ መንግሥታት ላይ፥ በማያውቁህም አሕዛብ ላይ መዓትህን አፍስስ፤ ⁷ ያዕቆብን በልተውታልና፥ ስፍራውንም ባድማ አድርገዋልና። ⁸ የቀደመውን በደላችንን አታስብብን፥ ምሕረትህ በቶሎ ታግኘን፥ እጅግ ተቸግረናልና። ⁹ አምላካችንና መድኃኒታችን ሆይ፥ እርዳን፤ ስለ ስምህ ክብር፥ አቤቱ፥ ታደገን፥ ስለ ስምህም ኃጢአታችንን አስተሰርይልን። ¹⁰ አሕዛብ፦ አምላካቸው ወዴት ነው? እንዳይሉ፥ የፈሰሰውን የባሪያዎችህን ደም በቀል በዓይኖቻችን ፊት አሕዛብ ይወቁ። ¹¹ የእስረኞች ጩኸት ወደ ፊትህ ይግባ፤ እንደ ክንድህም ታላቅነት ሊገደሉ የተፈረደባቸውን አድን። ¹² አቤቱ፥ የተዘባበቱብህን መዘባበታቸውን ለጎረቤቶቻችን ሰባት እጥፍ በብብታቸው ክፈላቸው። ¹³ እኛ ሕዝብህ ግን፥ የማሰማርያህም በጎች፥ ለዘላለም እናመሰግንሃለን፤ ለልጅ ልጅም ምስጋናህን እንናገራለን። መዝ/፸፰(፸፱) <<ከናግራን ሰማዕታት ከአባታቸው ቅዱስ ሒሩት ከቤተሰቦቹ በረከት ይክፈለን::>> ❇️ዝክረቅዱሳን (ማኅበረ ቅዱስ ዳዊት) " ፍቅር ያጌብረኒ ከመ እንግር ዜናሆሙ ለቅዱሳን"::/የቅዱሳንን ዜና(ታሪክ) እንድመሰክር ፍቅር ያስገድደኛል::

=>In the 6th century, Najran (in present day Yemen) was a nation of Christians. When our emperors left Saba, the power vacuum was filled by Phinehas (Dhu Nuwas) who was a cruel Jew that wished to destroy Najran. He then entered the city deceitfully saying, “Let me take a tour of your metropolis.” ✞He thereafter immediately gathered the people and the priests, and said, “Renounce Christianity.” However, the stedfast Christians replied, “That cannot be.” Thus, to frighten them he congregated around 4,000 priests, deacons and teachers, and then slaughtered them. ✞Afterwards, he asked the people, “What about now?” But they again said, “Nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ.” (Rom. 8:35) Hence, the brutal Phineas again killed more than 4,100 from the population. ✞He then had St. Arethas/Harithah/Al-Harith (the leader of the people) tortured and beheaded him. He then had his wife St. Demah (Romah/Ruhm) drink the blood of her two daughters they had slain. Then they beheaded her. And the Christians of Najran who saw what had occurred instead of being fearful hasted to the fire (to the ditches/Al-Ukhdud) and the sword willingly. ✞The city then burned and blood flowed in it for 40 days. And the Righteous Emperor Kaleb (Elesbaan) who heard what had happened, reached the land, saved those who were left and abolished Phinehas and his soldiers.  ✞✞✞May the God of the Fathers and the Martyr grant us from the tang of their love, honor, grace and blessings. ✞✞✞ Annual feasts celebrated on the 26th of Hedar 1. ✞And while he strived for the Church in such manner, particularly during the 45 years as an Abbott, he did not give his eyes sleep. And his side never touched a bed. As it says, “In heaven is his reward Since for fifty years he did not sleep on his side”✞And when the day of his departure came near, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, descended and gave him a covenant. And at the age of 82 years (some say 86) in the year 1292 A.D, he passed away on a Sunday and was buried. Today is the day of his nativity. ✞✞✞The invocation of the Saint’s name is highly revered! ✞✞✞Abune Habte Maryam the Righteous✞✞✞ =>This Saint is a star of our country’s monasticism as the fathers say, “Righteousness and virtues as Habte Maryam.” From the Sea of his sweet life let us see some for blessings. ✞The Saint’s place of birth was in Shewa (Yerawey) and his father was Fre Biruk and his mother was called Yostina (Justina). St. Yostina was very beautiful, a lover of charity, and a blessed woman. She even went for asceticism to a lifeless desert before the Saint was born. ✞However, a righteous wanderer, a hermit, found her and she returned [back to her home], because he said, “Return, there is a kind servant of the [Holy] Trinity in your womb.” And after she gave birth to the Saint and raised him, she went back [to the desert] in asceticism and lived fighting the good fight, after which she received 7 crowns and passed away. ✞When we come back to the Saint’s life, at the time when Abune Habte Maryam was a child and stood with his mother while participating in the liturgy, he heard [the prayer], “Our Lord Christ have mercy on us/ forgive us.” And memorizing this prayer, he used to make prostrations while saying with his child’s tongue, “Please forgive us” after waking up at night. ✞Seeing a five year old child do this is truly wondrous. And when he was a bit older and became a shepherd, he was a perfect ascetic and a fasting boy. And as he had grace, he performed many miracles in his childhood. At one time, he suspended another shepherd in the air for a whole day because he had belittled his Creator’s name. ✞And when he was old enough to learn, he entered [the traditional] school and studied the Scriptures, then he became an ascetic. And a lowly person like I cannot list down his struggles (the good fights he fought) after he was tonsured a monk by the hands of Abba Melchizedek. *He prostrated 500 times [everyday] immersed in water. *He prayed the 4 Gospels and the 150 Psalms daily. (Reading the Holy Bible is a great prayer.) *He ate only after 40 days and then after 80 days. *His foods were only grasses and leaves. *He regularly censed without discontinuity. (Because he was a priest.) *He also partook of the Holy Eucharist (Holy Body and Blood of Christ) day-to-day. *And he did not hold any grudges nor did he have wickedness in his heart. ✞The Lord pleased by these and other good deeds of the Saint, gave him a chariot of light and fire; and with that he used to fly to Jerusalem. And after many years of struggles, our Savior, Christ, to Whom is glory, came leading myriads of His angels and said to the Saint, “1. For enduring hunger and thirst for My name’s sake, 2. for your asceticism, 3. for your blessed monastic life, 4. for your pure celibacy (virginity), 5. for not holding grudges and vengeance, 6. for your pure priesthood and incense 7. and for reading the Gospel with love, I will give you 7      crowns.” ✞He also said to the Saint, “And in heaven I have given you a hall next to John the Baptist’s with 500 gemmed pillars. And I truly promise in My name that I will forgive those that supplicate per your covenant, and beseech in your name.” ✞Then, the holy angles embraced him saying, “Habte Maryam our brother.” And the Lord revealed His oneness and threeness to him [to a mortal’s ability], embraced and gave him a holy kiss trice. And the Saint’s soul departed from his body as the Lord’s love was great. Then, the angels took his soul in hymns.✞✞✞The Martyrs of Najran (Nagran)✞✞✞

#Feasts of #Hedar_26 ✞✞✞On this day we commemorate Abune Iyesus Moa of Hayiq, Abune Habte Maryam the Righteous and the Martyrs of Najran (Nagran)✞✞✞ ✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞ ✞✞✞ Abune Iyesus Moa of Hayiq✞✞✞ =>If God had not raised the likes of Abune Iyesus Moa in the 13th century, perhaps we would not have found the Ethiopian Church in the form that we find Her now. Hence, one of the things that upsets the true fathers is the forgottenness of the Righteous and Apostolic Father, Abune Iyesus Moa. ✞The Saint, himself being the fruit of faith and having bore many saints from his righteousness, has adorned our country with the evangelization of the Gospel and the monastic life. Let us mention some things about the Saint. ✞Abune Iyesus Moa was born in Gondar in the place that was called Semada (Dehana) in earlier times. And his parents were known as ZeChristos and Egzi Kibra. And he was born in the year 1210 A.D. However, some sources say it was in 1196 A.D. ✞The Saint grew up properly under the care of his parents. And in his childhood, Abba Iyesus Moa helped his father and mother very much. And in his spare time, he used to study the teachings of the Faith and its rites. And in 1240 A.D (when he was 30), he thought of leaving the world behind. ✞And he did not just think of the matter but after beseeching God, he entered the Monastery of Debre Damo. And because at the time, Damo, beyond being a center of learning and monasticism, was under the abbacy of Abba Yohani the Second, who was the 5th spiritual descendant of Abune Aregawi, he became his disciple.  ✞And Abune Iyesus Moa, throughout his stay at Debre Damo, spent the day following orders, milling [grains], fetching water, and during half of the night he prayed and made prostrations while he transcribed holy books in the other half.  ✞Finally, he wore the garb of monasticism. And that took place when he was 37 years old and in the year 1247 A.D. Immediately after that, the Angel of Peace, St. Gabriel, appeared to him and instructed him with, “Go to Hayiq (a Lake in Wollo). There you have much work to do.” ✞And suddenly, he took him from Damo (in Tigray) to Hayiq (in Wollo). And there in the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, he lived by fighting the spiritual fight, by preaching, by censing and in prayer by submerging in the lake for 7 years. ✞And the fathers who saw his holiness, forcefully made him the Abbot. And this was the moment that placed a great footing in the Ethiopian Church. And the matter was as follows. ✞After Yodit Gudit (a female Jewish rebel leader during the last of the first millennium A.D), whose name’s invocation is foul, undone the country for 40 years Christianity dwindled and the worship of idols became rampant. However, Abune Iyesus Moa (whose name means “Christ is Victorious”) gathered 800 Christians that were upright in their faith. ✞He then established a library, which was the biggest and the first of its kind in its time. Thereafter, he instructed in holiness the teachings [of the Church] to those disciples until they matured and tonsured them monks. And then he said to them, “Go! Fight that you can lighten the country.” And he sent them on their ways. ✞And among those monks, the greats like Abune Tekle Haymanot, Abune Betselote Michael and the later fruit, Abba Giorgis of Gasicha, are mentionable. And for this reason the Saint is called “The Bearer of a Multitude of Saints”. ✞The Saint Abune Iyesus Moa has also taught the later Emperor, Yekuno Amlak, and had shaped him to be a good man for the country and the Church. And while the Saint prayed in the lake, a pillar of light used to descend for him. And he re-established Hayiq Monastery 300 years after its destruction (by Yodit).

✞✞✞ በስመ አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ አሐዱ አምላክ ፡፡ አሜን ፡፡ ✞✞✞ † ኅዳር ፳፮ † +*" አቡነ ኢየሱስ ሞዐ ዘሐይቅ "*+ =>እግዚአብሔር በ13ኛው መቶ ክ/ዘ እነ አቡነ ኢየሱስ ሞዐን ባያስነሳ ኑሮ ምናልባትም ዛሬ የኢትዮዽያ ቤተ ክርስቲያንን በምናያት መንገድ ላናገኛት እንችል ነበር:: እውነተኛ አባቶቻችን ፈጽሞ ከሚቆረቁራቸው ነገር አንዱ የጻድቅና ሐዋርያዊ አባት አቡነ ኢየሱስ ሞዐ መዘንጋት ነው:: +እርሳቸው ፍሬ ሃይማኖት ሆነው ከጽድቅ ፍሬአቸው አዕላፍ ቅዱሳንን ወልደው ሃገራችን በወንጌል ትምሕርትና በገዳማዊ ሕይወት እንድታሸበርቅ አድርገዋል:: እስኪ በዕለተ ዕረፍታቸው ስለ ጻድቁ ጥቂት ነገሮችን እናንሳ:: +አቡነ ኢየሱስ ሞዐ ዘሐይቅ የተወለዱት ጐንደር: የድሮው ስማዳ (ዳኅና) አካባቢ ሲሆን ወላጆቻቸው ዘክርስቶስና እግዚእ ክብራ ይባላሉ:: የተወለዱት በ1210 ዓ/ም ነው:: ነገር ግን አንዳንድ ምንጮች በ1196 ዓ/ም ያደርጉታል:: +ጻድቁ ከክርስቲያን ወላጆቻቸው ጋር እንደሚገባ አድገዋል:: በልጅነታቸው በብዛት ወላጆቻቸውን ያግዙ ነበር:: በትርፍ ጊዜአቸው ደግሞ ትምሕርተ ሃይማኖትንና ሥርዓቱን ያጠኑ ነበር:: በ1240 ዓ/ም ግን (ማለትም 30 ዓመት ሲሞላቸው) ይሕቺን ዓለም ይተዋት ዘንድ አሰቡ:: +አስበውም አልቀሩ ፈጣሪን እየለመኑ ደብረ ዳሕሞ ገቡ:: በወቅቱ ዳሞ የትምሕርት: የምናኔ ማዕከል ከመሆኑ ባሻገር የአቡነ አረጋዊ 5ኛ የቆብ ልጅ ካልዕ ዮሐኒ ነበሩና የእርሳቸው ደቀ መዝሙር ሆኑ:: +አቡነ ኢየሱስ ሞዐ በደብረ ዳሞ በነበራቸው ቆይታ ቀን ቀን ሲታዘዙ: ሲፈጩ: ውሃ ሲቀዱ ውለው ሌሊት እኩሉን በጸሎት በስግደትና የቀረውን ሰዓት ደግሞ ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍትን በመገልበጥ አሳለፉ:: +በመጨረሻም ልብሰ ምንኩስናን ለበሱ:: ይህን ጊዜ 37 ዓመታቸው ሲሆን ዘመኑም 1247 ዓ/ም ነው:: ወዲያውም በዳሞ ሳሉ መልአከ ሰላም ቅዱስ ገብርኤል ተገልጦ "ወደ ወሎ ሐይቅ ሒድ: ብዙ የምትሠራው አለና" አላቸው:: +በአንዴም ከዳሞ (ትግራይ) ነጥቆ ሐይቅ እስጢፋኖስ (ወሎ) አደረሳቸው:: በዚያም ለ7 ዓመታት በዼጥሮስ ወዻውሎስ ቤተ መቅደስ በተጋድሎ: በስብከተ ወንጌል: በማዕጠንትና ሐይቁ ውስጥ ሰጥሞ በመጸለይ ኖሩ:: +ቅድስናቸውን የተመለከቱ አበውም በግድ አበ ምኔት አድርገው ሾሟቸው:: ይህ ነው እንግዲህ በኢትዮዽያ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ላይ ትልቁ መሠረት የተጣለበት አጋጣሚ:: ነገሩ እንዲህ ነው:- +ስም አጠራሯ የከፋ ዮዲት ጉዲት ለ40 ዓመታት ሃገሪቱን እንዳልነበረች ብታደርጋት ክርስትና ተዳከመ:: ባዕድ አምልኮም ነገሠ:: አቡነ ኢየሱስ ሞዐ (ትርጉሙ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ አሸነፈ ማለት ነው) ደግሞ ሃይማኖታቸው የቀና ከ800 በላይ ክርስቲያኖችን ሰበሰቡ:: +በሃገሪቱ ትልቅና የመጀመሪያው ሊባል የሚችል ቤተ መጻሕፍት አደራጁ:: እነዚያን አርድእት በቅድስናና በትምሕርት አብስለው አመነኮሱና "ሒዱ! ሃገሪቱን ታበሩ ዘንድ ተጋደሉ" ብለው አሰናበቷቸው:: +ክእነዚህ መካከልም ታላላቁን አቡነ ተክለ ሃይማኖትን: አቡነ በጸሎተ ሚካኤልን እና የሁዋላውን ፍሬ አባ ጊዮርጊስ ዘጋሥጫን መጥቀስ እንችላለን:: በዚህም ምክንያት ጻድቁ "ወላዴ አእላፍ ቅዱሳን - አእላፍ ቅዱሳንን የወለደ" ሲባሉ ይኖራሉ:: +ጻድቁ ከዚህ በተጨማሪ የወቅቱን ንጉሥ አፄ ይኩኖ አምላክን በማስተማር ለሃገርና ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ጠቃሚ ሰው አድርገዋል:: በግላቸው ሐይቅ ውስጥ ገብተው ሲጸልዩ የብርሃን ምሰሶ ይወርድላቸው ነበር:: ሐይቅ እስጢፋኖስ ገዳምንም ከጠፋ ከ300 ዓመታት በሁዋላ አቅንተዋል:: +እንዲህ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ሲተጉ: በተለይ በአበ ምኔትነት በቆዩባቸው 45 ዓመታት ለዓይናቸው እንቅልፍን አላስመኙትም:: ጐድናቸውም ከምኝታ ጋር ተገናኝቶ አያውቅም:: "እንዘ የኀሊ ዘበሰማያት ዐስቦ:: መጠነ ዓመታት ሃምሳ ኢሰከበ በገቦ::" እንዲል:: +ከዚህ በሁዋላ የሚያርፉበት ዕለት ቢደርስ ጌታችን መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ወርዶ ቃል ኪዳን ሰጥቷቸዋል:: በተወለዱ በ82 ዓመታቸው (በ86 ዓመታቸው የሚልም አለ) በ1282 ዓ/ም በዕለተ ሰንበት ዐርፈው ተቀብረዋል:: <<ጻድቁ ስም አጠራራቸው እጅግ የከበረ ነው!!>> +*" አቡነ ሃብተ ማርያም ጻድቅ "*+ =>እኒህ ጻድቅ ደግሞ የሃገራችን ኮከበ ገዳም ናቸው:: "ጽድቅና ትሩፋት እንደ ሃብተ ማርያም" እንዲሉ አበው:: ባሕር ከሆነ ጣዕመ ሕይወታቸው ጥቂቱን ለበረከት እንካፈል:: +ጻድቁ መካነ ሙላዳቸው ሽዋ (የራውዕይ) ውስጥ ሲሆን አባታቸው ፍሬ ቡሩክ: እናታቸው ደግሞ ቅድስት ዮስቴና ትባላለች:: በተለይ ቅድስት ዮስቴና እጅግ ደመ ግቡ: ምጽዋትን ወዳጅ: ቡርክት ሴት ነበረች:: እንዲያውም ከጻድቁ መወለድ በፊት መንና ጭው ካለ በርሃ ገብታ ነበር:: +ግን የበቃ ግኁስ አግኝቷት "ከማሕጸንሽ ደግ የሥላሴ ባርያ አለና ተመለሽ" ብሏት እንደ ገና ተመልሳለች:: ጻድቁን ወልዳ አሳድጋም እንደ ገና መንና በተጋድሎ ኑራ 7 አክሊላትን ተቀብላ ዐርፋለች:: +ወደ ጻድቁ ዜና ሕይወት ስንመለስ አቡነ ሃብተ ማርያም ገና ሕጻን እያሉ ከእናታቸው ጋር ቆመው ሲያስቀድሱ "እግዚኦ መሐረነ ክርስቶስ" ሲባል ይሰማሉ:: ይሕችን ጸሎት በሕጻን አንደበታቸው ይዘው ሌሊት ሌሊት እየተነሱ "ማረን እባክህን?" እያሉ ይሰግዱ ነበር:: +የ5 ዓመት ሕጻን እንዲህ ሲያደርግ ማየቱ በእውነት ይደንቃል:: ትንሽ ከፍ ብለው በእረኝነት ሳሉም ፍጹም ተሐራሚና ጸዋሚ ነበሩ:: ጸጋው ስለ በዛላቸውም ልጅ ሆነው ብዙ ተአምራትን ሰርተዋል:: የፈጣሪውን ስም ያቃለውን አንድ እረኛም በዓየር ላይ ሰቅለው አውለውታል:: +ከዚያ ግን ለአካለ መጠን ሲደርሱ ወደ ት/ቤት ገብተው: መጻሕፍትንም አጥንተው መንነዋል:: በአባ መልከ ጼዴቅ እጅ ከመነኮሱ በሁዋላ የሠሩትን ትሩፋትና የነበራቸውን ተጋድሎ ግን የኔ ብጤ ደካማ ሰው ሊዘረዝረው አይችልም:: *ባሕር ውስጥ ሰጥመው 500 ጊዜ ይሰግዳሉ:: *በየቀኑ 4ቱን ወንጌልና 150 መዝሙረ ዳዊትን ይጸልያሉ:: (መጽሐፍ ቅዱስን ማንበብ ታላቅ ጸሎት ነው) *በ40 ቀናት: ቀጥሎም በ80 ቀን አንዴ ብቻ ይመገባሉ:: *ምግባቸው ደግሞ ሣርና ቅጠል ብቻ ነው:: *በየዕለቱ ያለ ማስታጐል ማዕጠንት ያሳርጋሉ:: (ካህን ናቸውና) *ዘወትር በንጽሕና ቅዱስ ሥጋውን ይበላሉ: ክቡር ደሙን ይጠጣሉ:: *በፍጹም በልባቸው ውስጥ ቂምን: መከፋትን አላሳደሩም:: +በእነዚህና በሌሎች ትሩፋቶቻቸው ደስ የተሰኘ ጌታም ለጻድቁ የእሳትና የብርሃን ሠረገላን ሰጥቷቸው በዚያ እየበረሩ ኢየሩሳሌም ይሔዱ ነበር:: ከብዙ የተጋድሎ ዘመናት በሁዋላም የክብር ባለቤት መድኃኒታችን ክርስቶስ አዕላፍ መላእክትን አስከተትሎ መጥቶ አላቸው:: +"*ስለ እኔ ረሃብና ጥምን ስለ ታገስክ: *ስለ ምናኔሕ: *ስለ ተባረከ ምንኩስናህ: *ስለ ንጹሕ ድንግልናህ: *ቂምና በቀልን ስላለመያዝህ: *ስለ ንጹሕ ክህነትህና ማዕጠንትህ: *ቅዱስ ወንጌልን በፍቅር ስለ ማንበብህ 7 አክሊላትን እሰጥሃለሁ::" +"በሰማይም ከመጥምቁ ዮሐንስ ጐን: 500 የእንቁ ምሰሶዎች ያሉበትን አዳራሽ ሰጥቼሃለሁ:: በስምህ የሚለምኑ: በቃል ኪዳንህ የሚማጸኑትንም ሁሉ እንድምርልህ 'አማንየ! በርእስየ!' ብዬሃለሁ" አላቸው::
