Minor Rose update: - Rules now show "The rules for your chat name are:" before showing the rules. This should make it clearer for users of captcharules that they're not just looking at a big blurb of text; these are rules that should be read. - Any CAPTCHA that goes to PM (eg text, maths, or with captcharules enabled) are now shown in the original chat language. This should make it easier for non-english chats to use CAPTCHA features in their groups where users might not speak english. - Updated translations. If anyone speaks Taiwanese or Polish, please update crowdin as soon as possible - your translations are running behind, and might be removed!

Rose update: This update brings CAPTCHA rules! Make sure all new users in your chat read the rules by enabling captcharules. This will add an extra step to the CAPTCHA, asking users to read and accept your chat rules before getting unmuted. Also: - Added the /connect command to the list of disableable commands. - Improved the output of /welcome. - Updated languages. As usual, head to the support chat if you have any bugs or questions. Rose bugfix: There have been a few reports of the invitelink lock sometimes missing links. This has now been fixed. Also, added the 🇷🇸 Serbo-Croatian language to Rose, and updated existing translations. A big thank you to all those who contributed! :)

Reminder: The migration will start soon.

Reminder: The migration will start at 9PM UK time, in 2 hours. It is expected to last 2 hours, during which Rose will be unavailable.

I plan to move Rose to a new provider on Wednesday 10th of February at 9PM UTC (UK time). I expect this to take between 1 and 2 hours, during which Rose will be unavailable. Once completed, this move should mark the end of the random downtimes that have been plaguing Rose over the last two weeks, and allow me to start focusing on new features again. I will post again on Wednesday, when the migration process begins.

Rose is currently experiencing some issues. We are actively investigating and we hope to find a solution as quickly as possible. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and we’ll keep you posted for further updates. Thanks for your patience. Shes back. I will be moving to another server provider in the next few days, since this is happening much too often.

Rose language update: - Updated all Rose translations. - Rose now speaks 🇺🇦Ukrainian and 🇦🇿Azerbaijani! Thank you to everyone who contributed. If you would like to see Rose speak your language, head to crowdin and start translating :)

Digital ocean, my server provider, is having some major issues (again), so rose is currently down. I'm investigating. This has been fixed - Rose is now back online. I've been communicating with Digital ocean for the last week trying to get an explanation to these random network drop outs. If they are unable to provide a stable service, I will be migrating to another provider - these issues are unacceptable, and not the right place to be spending donation money.

The telegram bot API has had a hiccup and stopped sending new messages to Rose. Its now started working again, so Rose is catching up; she should be back up to speed in a few minutes. Sorry about this; absolutely nothing I can do about it, since the issue is on telegram's side. On the bright side, the new server is holding up strong, so that was a great move! UPDATE: She is now fully back and working as she should

Rose update: Rose's note buttons have been improved to make navigating chained notes easier when in PM. Those note buttons now work via callbacks, reducing the number of /start's that need to be pressed. This allows you to use note buttons to create your own navigatable menu, just like the /help! No changes are necessary for this to be applied, everything is automatically handled. I've also updated some languages, since there were new contributions. Reminder: to create a button which links to another note, use the [button name](buttonurl://#notename) syntax. Or just use the button generator! Enjoy! :)

Rose update: - New /help design! Some of the sections were getting WAY too big and illegible; theyve now been split into smaller, hopefully easier to understand, sections. Feedback welcome :). - /spurge allows you to silently purge. When using this command, Rose will not say "purge complete" when she finishes. - New locktype, album. This allows you to stop people from sending media albums in your chats. - Updated translations. Bugfixes: - Rose now recognises the new invitelinks that were recently added by telegram. - Fix some incorrect help strings. - Some other small things. Translations for Ukrainian have been removed, as they were missing a lot of strings. Taiwanese and Polish are also missing a lot, and will be removed if not updated soon. And... we are done. Finally. Learnt a lot of things, and will use this new knowledge to avoid this happening again in the future. Sorry for the delay. Thank you all for the patience. And enjoy the new server!

Still going. My best guess is that there are about two hours of database upgrade to go. Very sorry for the delay, I'm just as annoyed as everyone else :/

The final database upgrade is taking much longer than expected. The good news is that this is the last thing that needs to complete, and that everything else has upgraded successfully - so as soon as this finishes, Rose will be ready to run again. Thank you for your patience.
