Can DAOs become legal entities? 🤔 Yes, and such changes are already happening in various countries. For example, in Switzerland, where blockchain technology is actively supported, DAOs can be registered as legal entities. In 2021, several DAOs utilizing blockchain for governance and decision-making were officially registered there 💼 Singapore is another country where crypto companies can operate within existing regulations, setting a precedent for the legalization of DAOs. Several laws in Singapore enable DAOs to function within business structures, paving the way for official registration In the United States, progress is also being made. Some states, like Wyoming, have implemented legislation allowing DAOs to be registered as legal entities.
