Turns out, cheap gifts are a hassle. All the action on Tonnel revolves around cheap floor gifts. I put up all my swords on the premarket yesterday, and mostly got a bunch of 3% junk. Out of 150 swords, only two black backgrounds and one sword with a 0.5% rarity. In short, I listed the floor trash for 3 TON, the ones where the model somewhat matches the background for 4 TON, and the black background ones and the rare one I priced high. And the floor stuff is selling like hotcakes. I’ve already recouped all my costs. 3 TON is basically a 3x return already. Now try selling an expensive gift with a 3x markup. Not a single Bonded Ring has sold for me, and I only put a 50% markup on most of them. I don’t buy into these fairy tales about bags, helmets, or whatever else supposedly selling for big bucks. There might be a few isolated cases, but mostly it’s a setup, an illusion that you can sell a gift for crazy multiples. Resellers don’t need expensive gifts, and there are too few end users—collectors, so to speak—given the scale of this emission. Last night, upgrades for bow ties and helmets were released. The trend continues—cheap bow ties look more interesting than expensive helmets. In the latter, only the Cyberpunk model looks somewhat decent; the rest are more or less the same. It feels like it’s all a matter of taste now, and with so many gifts already, it doesn’t really matter which gift you get as long as the rarity is low and the background is decent. But the recent rings showed that design still matters. The bow ties are more interesting—there are plenty of references, including to some of us, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones. There’s even one with WhatsApp. There might be issues with the Cheburashka one, though. Soyuzmultfilm really doesn’t like it when their intellectual property is used without permission, and as we recently learned, Telegram isn’t great with royalty payments. I’ve figured out the new feature in Tonnel. Now there’s a quick sale option that works if there are existing orders for the gift. In the video, someone boldly sets the price at 1 TON but ends up selling for 50. I wouldn’t recommend doing that—there’s a decent chance you might actually sell it for 1 TON. 😁 The feature itself is cool but could be better. It would be great if Tonnel immediately showed the price at which you can sell the gift instantly, so there are no surprises. I want to talk to you about Smerkis. According to the victim, the case was opened due to the sale of low-quality bots for a channel for $100,000. The buyer turned out to be someone significant, with connections in law enforcement. When you read this, doesn’t it cause some cognitive dissonance? For me, this information doesn’t fit into any logical or legal framework. Let’s say an ordinary guy like me goes to the police… So, I go to the police and say that a tap game pumped low-quality bots into my channel, and I paid $100,000 in USDT for it. I have a feeling the officers would twirl their finger at their temple and say I’m some kind of sucker. But okay, instead of me, some important person shows up, with buddies in the police, a judge who’s on the same wavelength, and they open a case and even lock up Smerkis. But what happens next? The explanation the victim gave us is legally unprovable. How do you distinguish a real person from a bot? How do you determine their quality? How do you figure out the percentage of real users versus bots? How do you prove that it was Smerkis who specifically pumped the low-quality bots? Plus, the payment was in crypto—basically, just some tokens from the perspective of Russian law. I doubt things are exactly as the victim described. I don’t know who this Pozdnyakov is, but I think the charges in the case are completely different. Smerkis could have been locked up long ago for much more obvious things, and yet no one bothered to get involved. But now it’s about some bots from some tap game. I’ve had experience buying traffic from tap games. In fact, most of the people on this channel came through that method. Yes, they pumped in a lot of junk, so I’m kind of a victim too. Still, real people came as well, and I love them all dearly. So what now—can I go to court because most of the pumped-in subscribers don’t read anything on my channel?
