🇺🇸❌🇿🇦 The US State Department has revoked the visa of Nota Baloyi for mocking Americans grieving the loss of Charlie Kirk, saying “they’re hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom” and alleging “he was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash.” In February 2025 Baloyi described white people as “inhuman” and “inferior” to blacks: “They are inferior species (compared) to us. We’re Homo Sapiens; they have got Neanderthal blood in them. This is the science. This science was not done by black people; it was done by them.” @SouthAfricaReports

🇿🇦🇷🇺🇺🇦 South Africa Investigates How It Made a Part for Russian Drones South African authorities said they are investigating how electronic equipment made in the country ended up in Russian drones used to attack Ukraine. The part in question is a laser range finder made by Lightware Optoelectronics Ltd., which is based on the outskirts of Pretoria. It can be used to measure distances and trigger detonation, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Ukraine’s special envoy for sanctions, said in a social media post. It’s unclear how Russia obtained the equipment, which isn’t designed for military use, Lightware said in a response to questions this week. It blamed “unscrupulous” purchasers. The range finder was named among components that Ukraine’s intelligence services said on their Telegram channel were discovered in Russian drones. https://archive.is/zUllo

Today we celebrate the birthday of Paul Kruger (1825 - 1904) - one of the most important figures in Afrikaner and Boer history. As the president of the Transvaal he lead the Boers during the Second Anglo Boer War. Since the 1880s his birthday was celebrated and used to commemorate the Boer heroes until 1994 when the ANC scrapped Heldedag. @SouthAfricaReports

🇿🇦✈️🇷🇺 NEW: Blacklisted Russian cargo plane lands heavily loaded in SA, departs empty — Rapport A Russian Ilyushin IL-76 cargo aircraft, which is on the US blacklist due to suspicious flights, landed heavily loaded in Upington on Thursday. When it later stopped for fuel at Lanseria Airport, the cargo hold was empty, raising questions about what it had been carrying. The last flight visible on Flightradar24 (FR24) for the aircraft shows that, before the long flight to South Africa via Dar es Salaam, it had been in Iran for a considerable time. The aircraft belongs to Abakan Air, a Russian cargo specialist company based in Moscow. The US Treasury’s office placed Abakan and the specific aircraft (RA-76445) that stopped in South Africa on its blacklist in June last year because it was involved in transporting Russian military equipment. The US authorities also alleged that the Russian cargo specialist had operated in various Sub-Saharan African countries on behalf of the private military company Wagner, formerly associated with the now deceased Yevgeniy Prigozhin. Wagner has since been integrated into the Russian military's Africa Corps. There is no information available on what the cargo plane delivered to South Africa. @SouthAfricaReports

Yet it is a task we embrace with conviction - Afrikaners are here to build!" 📎 Frans de Klerk

🇺🇸❌🇿🇦 Kennedy Introduces Senate Version of Bill to Punish South Africa for Anti-American Policies Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) introduced legislation Monday to punish South Africa for its anti-American policies, creating a companion bill to House legislation introduced earlier by Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX). The bill, S. 2752, the U.S.-South Africa Bilateral Relations Review Act, has the same name as its House counterpart. The text of the Senate bill is almost identical to that of the House bill, H.R. 2633. Notably, the Senate bill identifies the entire African National Congress as the problem, while the House bill refers to “factions” of that party. The fact that the bill has been introduced in both chambers by Republicans who are in the majority substantially increases the chances that it will be enacted. https://www.breitbart.com/africa/2025/09/16/john-kennedy-introduces-senate-version-of-bill-to-punish-south-africa-for-anti-american-policies/

🇿🇼🇺🇸 US Lawmaker Presses Zimbabwe to Pay $3.5 Billion Debt to Farmers A US lawmaker has tabled legislation that seeks to block Zimbabwe from securing new funding from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank until it pays the $3.5 billion it owes to White farmers whose land was confiscated more than two decades ago. The southern African nation struck a deal in 2020 under a so-called Global Compensation Deed to reimburse the farmers for improvements they made to land that was seized by government-backed militants. The initial terms of the deal were never met and have since been revised several times. In April, the authorities unveiled a new payment plan that would see treasury bonds being issued to the farmers, an option most of them rejected. A Sept. 11 bill, proposed by Brian Mast, a Florida Republican congressman and chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, seeks to block US support for any new or expanded funding to Zimbabwe unless it commits to settling its arrears within 12 months of the financing being approved. If passed, the legislation will also require the southern African nation to adjust the compensation for inflation and ensure it isn’t settled using Zimbabwe-issued securities. https://archive.is/bMjfr

🇿🇦🇦🇶 2025 SA Agulhas II Voyage Delayed Due To Failed Psychometric Assessments The annual SA Agulhas II voyage to Tristan da Cunha that should have departed Cape Town on the 4th September 2025 will not leave until the 16th September. A public notice posted on the 1st September 2025 announced that the departure of the SA Agulhas II would be delayed due to unforeseen operational complexities until the 8th September. Passengers were requested to board her as originally scheduled on the 4th September, which they did. However, the departure date then slipped to the 11th September, and has since slipped further. According to the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment the unexpected delay is linked to recruits failing the psychometric assessment tests. 📝 Tristan da Cunha is a remote group of islands in the South Atlantic Ocean. 📝 In March it was reported that a member of the South African research team in Antarctica (SANAE 64) was accused of physical and sexual assault https://www.tristandc.com/shipping/news-2025-09-11-agulhas-ii.php

🇺🇸🇿🇦 Charlie Kirk on the 13th of May: South African Boers face systemic legal discrimination in their country. They face horrifying violence based on their skin color. A political party in their homeland openly calls for their genocide. Yet at the same time, they're enormously talented people. They have useful skills. They're very close to America culturally. America can integrate them with minimal difficulty and they will immediately start adding to America's wealth, rather than subtracting. They are, without exaggeration, ideal immigrants for this country. And of course, that's exactly WHY the left despises them so much. They don't want "refugees." They want the great replacement. They want people who have no skills, who just want American welfare. They want people who are culturally alien. They want human traffickers and MS-13 members. They want people who will commit crimes against Americans. And of course, they've also been looking forward to the genocide of white people in South Africa. They've been waiting with bated breath for it to happen, so they could swoop in, nod their heads, and say "Welp, this is what happens when you oppress people. This is the natural outcome of white supremacy." President Trump just denied the left their celebration and made America stronger in the process. They will never forgive him for it. https://x.com/charliekirk11/status/1922355132710453697 @SouthAfricaReports

🟧🕊🇺🇸 Joost Strydom on X: CHARLIE KIRK: A MESSAGE TO OUR AMERICAN FRIENDS. We share in the sadness of the brutal attack on Charlie, and his passing. Orania mourns with our friends in the United States, and conservatives worldwide. No earthly man is perfect, but Charlie moved mountains for mainstream conservative values and protection of rights. We also mourn the fatal stabbing of Iryna Zarutska on a train. This is a reminder of the importance of institutions that protect, guard and upkeep order and justice. 🔗 Joost Strydom

🇿🇦🇷🇺🇺🇦 South Africa Makes Rare Criticism of Russia After Ukraine Attack South Africa said it was “deeply concerned” by a Russian attack that killed Ukrainian pensioners, striking a more critical tone of Moscow than usual as it repeated its desire to help find peace. “Deliberate targeting of non-combatants is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law,” the Department of International Relations and Cooperation said in a statement on Wednesday. “South Africa is deeply concerned about the indiscriminate attacks on civilians emanating from a Russian attack which killed pensioners.” A Russian strike on Tuesday killed 24 people in eastern Ukraine as they collected pension payments. https://dirco.gov.za/south-africa-remains-concerned-at-indiscriminate-attacks-on-civilians-in-ukraine/

🟧⬜️ Orania Census for 2024 — Here are five interesting facts: 1. Population Growth Orania grew with 5.4% in 2024, to a sum of 3,025 residents. This means the average of 10% per annum is maintained since 2020. Also interesting is that Orania grew with almost 1000 residents since 2020. A third of its current population. 2. Economy Economic researcher Werner Fourie points out that Services (31.5%), Trade (22.0%), and Construction (15.0%) remain Orania’s three largest economic sectors. Although the contribution of Services shows a strong decrease (from 44.6% down to 31.5%), it is very positive that Manufacturing more than doubled from 5.0% to 12.6%, along with Agriculture, which also increased by nearly 4.0%. In the construction industry something interesting happened – 3. Construction The total number of building applications dropped from 176 in 2022 to 149 in 2024, however the value of developments is rising. With an estimated total of R186 million for 2024, the value of building applications in Orania was 31% higher than the previous year. Education and training are growing at an average annual rate of 8.6%, which includes Orania’s schools and Bo-Karoo Training. 4. Climate The year 2024 was drier and warmer than the past five years. Rainfall in 2024 measured 271.8 mm, almost half of the 456.6 mm recorded in 2020. The highest temperature recorded in 2024 was 41.7 °C and the lowest -4.4 °C. Here is the most interesting piece of information from the 2024 census: 5. Salaries and food inflation In terms of salaries, the average Oranian is significantly better off than the previous year. Average annual salaries increased with more than 18%! (Though still much lower than city averages) Alongside this came one of the best pieces of news from the census: food inflation showed deflation of 2.8%! The food basket was almost 3% cheaper than in 2023, while the same products elsewhere in South Africa became more expensive. In short: cooling in certain economic sectors, improvements in others. A substantial salary increase in permanent employment, and huge potential in education and training. 🔗 Orania Beweging
