✞And it came to pass as he had asked. And all this was an allegory. For the time being, the fleece of wool was the symbol for Israel and the earth was the symbol of the gentiles. The dew that came upon the fleece and not on the ground beside it symbolized the aid of God that came for Israel and not for the gentiles. ✞Also the allegory was reversed. Hence, let us change only the symbolism of dew, where dew symbolizes plague. The second time when dew came upon on the earth beside the fleece and not on the fleece, plague came on the gentiles avoiding Israel. (This was the mystery behind for the time being.) ✞But the actual mystery behind brings us to the New Testament. The fleece of wool is a symbol of our Lady and the dew of the Lord. The coming down of dew upon the fleece and not on the surrounding earth shows that the Lord was only born of the Virgin (not forgetting He was beget of the Father before time). ✞And in the 2nd allegory dew was the symbol of corruption and accursedness. Thus, the coming down of dew upon the earth and not on the fleece shows that the Virgin Mary was free/pure from corruption and accursedness. ✞And Gideon, for whom all these happened, had a statement declared amongst his kinsfolk and gathered 32 thousand soldiers. However, because God knew the wickedness of Israelites (that they will say they won because of their might) had Gideon proclaim, “Whosoever is afraid, let him return”. ✞And 22 thousand soldiers returned [as they were afraid] because the warriors of Midianites were more than a 100 thousand. Again, God said, “10 thousand is much. Take them to the river and separate them.” Thence, Gideon took them to the river and said, “Drink”. ✞And from the 10 thousand soldiers, 300 drank fetching the water with their hands and the 9,700 bent down and drank with their mouth [to the water]. And by this, God said, “Send back the rest (those that bent down) and fight [together] with the 300.” ✞And followed by the 300 soldiers taking with them trumpets and lamps within pitchers, he spent the night around the encampment of Midianites. And that night Gideon and his soldiers entered amongst the Midianites and broke their pitchers. ✞They sounded the trumpets and like a lion they roared saying, “Might from God and war from Gideon.” ✞And Midianites that were smitten with shock killed one another and in just a night they lost 102,000 of their soldiers. And the spared were humiliated. However, Israel were feared by the Power of their God. Thereafter, Gideon after administering Israel for 40 years departed on this day. (Judg. 6:1-8:35) ✞✞✞Mary the Sister of Moses✞✞✞ =>This mother was the elder sister of the Arch-prophet St. Moses and the Archpriest St. Aaron. And her parents were called Amram and Jochebed. And there is no other woman who has contributed as much as her when Israel were freed from the bondage of Egypt. ✞From the beginning, she was the mother who saw over St. Moses (kept him), who so that he would grow according to the rites and customs of the Jews had him come across with his mother and who led the women when they came out of Egypt. She also served her brothers Moses and Aaron. Above all, when God parted the waters and made the Erythraean Sea a dry land to cross over on, she praised her Creator saying, “Sing ye to the Lord” with a timbrel (Exod. 15:20-21). ✞And at one time, because she had spoken against Moses saying, “Why did you espouse the Ethiopian Zipporah” God angered smote her with leprosy. (Num. 12:1) Later, by his plea, the Saint had her forgiven. Mary departed on the way to the promised land (at Kadesh) and was buried. #Feasts of #Tahisas_16 ✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the departures of Gideon the Mighty Judge of Israel and Mary the Sister of Moses✞✞✞ ✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞ ✞✞✞The Mighty Gideon✞✞✞ =>After God created heaven and earth, the 22 creations, He made Adam their ruler. And after He had gave him a living soul, honored him with the Holy Spirit and made him a prophet and priest, He appointed him over all creation except the Tree of Knowledge. ✞However, our father Adam transgressed and left paradise. Thus, he encountered suffering and affliction. Then, he repented by weeping for 100 years. And the Lord gave him hope for salvation by accepting his repentance saying, “I will be born from your descendants and save you”. ✞And for this reason, for 5,500 years, prophecies were told, years were counted backwards and typologies were made. Beginning from the kind creature Adam to Noah, the children of Seth worshipped [God] in purity upon Debre Kidus (The Holy Mountain). ✞A bit later, because they intermingled, they were eradicated together with the children of Cain by the Flood of Destruction. And the new generations that started from the Righteous man Noah did not take much time to forget God as well. But from the seeds of Shem a sincere and righteous man Abraham was found. ✞And from him came Isaac and then Jacob. And Jacob was named “Israel” and by his children was established a nation which was called “The People of God”. Then, not to live in Canaan, the land which was anticipated, famine exiled them to the land of Egypt. ✞There, they subsisted for 215 years in a life of bondage. And God remembered Israel for the sake of His beloved Abraham. And He raised the meek and righteous man Moses and delivered them from the bondage of Egypt. ✞And this was done by a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm that destroyed with 9 plagues, a 10th - the death of the firstborn and an 11th - drowning of Egyptians. And in their path, He also passed vengeance upon their enemies. And starting that time, Israelites began to be led by Judges and Priests. ✞First, Moses as a Judge and Aaron as a priest led them. Then, Joshua replaced Moses and Eleazar replaced Aaron. It continued like this and reached to the Mighty Gideon. And this took place 4,151 years after the creation of the world. ✞And during that time, because Israel used to worship idols, God used to give them over to their enemies. The nations, Ammon, Amalec, Philistines, that were/are around them let alone then, as you can see now, are [as foes] as chicken and grain. ✞1,349 years before the birth of Christ, Midianites (this nation, Median, is said to have been part of the Ethiopian Empire) rose as enemies against Israelites and they were vexed. ✞And our God, wanting to save them, sent His angel to Gideon. The Holy Angel then appeared before Gideon and called him as, “thou mighty man of God”. However, Gideon responded with, “While slaves, where is our might?”. ✞To which the angel replied, “God is with thee, go! Save Israel from the hands of Midianites.” Nevertheless, Gideon continued with his inquiry and asked, “How would I know that God is with I?” ✞And Gideon said this not because he doubted his Creator rather it was stated to reveal the wisdom of God and to illustrate the mystery of the incarnation which would take place in later times. ✞Then, the angel raised the sacrificial offering of the Judge. After which, Gideon requested, “Let me place a fleece of wool on the floor. And let dew be on the fleece only, and dry upon all the earth beside it.” Then, the morning after, he found it as he had asked. ✞He then wringed the dew out of the fleece, filled a bowl, drank it and was filled with heavenly power. He then continued his inquiry and requested, “Lord! Again, let the reverse be done. Let not dew be upon the fleece of wool but let it be beside it.”

✝✞✝ እንኩዋን ለኃያል "መሥፍነ እሥራኤል ቅዱስ ጌዴዎን" እና "ማርያም እህተ ሙሴ" ዓመታዊ የዕረፍት በዓል በሰላም አደረሳችሁ ✝✞✝ +*" ኃያል ጌዴዎን "*+ =>እግዚአብሔር ሰማይንና ምድርን: 22ቱን ሥነ ፍጥረትን ፈጥሮ አዳምን ገዢ አደረገው:: አክሎም በነፍስ ሕያው አድርጐ: በመንፈስ ቅዱስ አክብሮ: ነቢይና ካህን አድርጐ: ካንዲት ዕፀ በለስ በቀር በፍጥረት ሁሉ ላይ አሰለጠነው:: +አባታችን አዳም ግን ስሕተት አግኝቶት ከገነት ወጣ:: መከራና ፍዳም አገኘው:: በሁዋላም ለ100 ዓመት አልቅሶ ንስሃ ገባ:: ጌታም ንስሃውን ተቀብሎ "ከልጅ ልጅህ ተወልጄ አድንሃለሁ" የሚል ተስፋ ድህነትን ሰጠው:: +ስለዚህም ምክንያት ለ5,500 ዓመታት ትንቢት ሲነገር: ሱባኤ ወደ ታች ሲቆጠር: ምሳሌም ሲመሰል ኖረ:: ከደግ ፍጥረት አዳም እስከ ኖኅ ድረስ: የሴት ልጆች እግዚአብሔርን በንጽሕና ሁነው በደብር ቅዱስ አመለኩ:: +ትንሽ ቆይተው ግን ስለተቀላቀሉ ከቃየን ልጆች ጋር በማየ ድምሳሴ ጠፉ:: በጻድቅ ሰው ኖኅ የተጀመረው ትውልድም እግዚአብሔርን ለመዘንጋት ጊዜ አልፈጀበትም:: ነገር ግን ከሴም ዘር ቅንና ጻድቅ ሰው አብርሃም ተገኘ:: +ከእርሱም ይስሐቅ: ከዚያም ያዕቆብ (ደጋጉ) ተገኙ:: ያዕቆብም "እሥራኤል" ተብሎ: በልጆቹ "ሕዝበ እግዚአብሔር" የተባለ ነገድ ተመሠረተ:: በተስፋይቱ ምድር በከነዓን እንዳይኖሩም ረሃብ ምድረ ግብጽ አወረዳቸው:: +በዚያም ለ215 ዓመታት በጭንቅ የባርነትን ሕይወትን አሳለፉ:: እግዚአብሔርም ስለ ወዳጁ አብርሃም ሲል እሥራኤልን አሰባቸው:: የዋሕና ጻድቅ ሰው ሙሴን አስነስቶ እሥራኤልን ከግብጽ ባርነት አዳናቸው:: +ይኸውም በጸናች እጅ: በበረታችም ክንድ: በ9 መቅሰፍት: በ10ኛ ሞተ በኩር: በ11ኛ ስጥመት ግብጻውያንን አጥፍቶ ነው:: በየመንገዱም ጠላቶቻቸውን እየተበቀለላቸው ነው:: ከዚህ ዘመን ጀምሮም እሥራኤል በመሳፍንትና በካህናት የሚተዳደሩ ሆኑ:: +አስቀድሞ ሙሴ በምስፍና: አሮን በክህነት መሯቸው:: ቀጥሎም በቅዱስ ሙሴ ኢያሱ: በአሮን አልዓዛር ተተኩ:: እንዲህ እንዲህ እያለም ከኃያል ሰው ጌዴዎን ደረሱ:: ይኸውም ከዓለም ፍጥረት 4,151 ዓመታት በሁዋላ መሆኑ ነው:: +በጊዜው እሥራኤል ጣዖትን እያመለኩ እግዚአብሕርን ስላሳዘኑት ለጠላቶቻቸው አሳልፎ ይሰጣቸው ነበር:: የአካባቢው መንግስታት እነ አሞን: አማሌቅ: ኢሎፍሊ ስንኩዋ ያኔ ዛሬም ቢሆን እንደምትመለከቱት ዶሮና ጥሬ ናቸው:: +ከክርስቶስ ልደት 1,349 ዓመታት በፊትም በእሥራኤል ላይ ምድያማውያን (ይህቺ ሃገር የኢትዮዽያ ግዛት ነበረች ይባላል) በጠላትነት ተነስተውባቸው ተጨነቁ:: +አምላካችን እግዚአብሔርም ሊያድናቸው ወዶ መልአኩን ወደ ጌዴዎን ላከው:: ቅዱስ መልአክም ወደ እርሱ ቀርቦ "ኃያል የእግአብሔር ሰው" ሲል ጠራው:: ጌዴዎን ግን "ባሮች ስንሆን ምን ኃይል አለን!" ሲል መለሰለት:: +መልአኩም "እግዚአብሔር ካንተ ጋር ነውና ሒድ! እሥራኤልን ከምድያም እጅ አድናቸው" አለው:: ጌዴዎን ምልልሱን ቀጠለ:: "እግዚአብሔር ከእኔ ጋር መሆኑን በምን አውቃለሁ?" ሲል ጠየቀው:: +ጌዴዎን ይህንን ያለው ፈጣሪውን ተጠራጥሮት አይደለም:: ይልቁኑ ጥበበ እግዚአብሔር ይገለጥ ዘንድና በሁዋለኛው ዘመን የሚፈጸመውን ምሥጢረ ሥጋዌ ሊያስረዳ እንጂ:: +መልአኩም መስፍኑ የሰዋውን መስዋዕት አሳረገለት:: ቀጥሎም ጌዴዎን "ጸምር (ብዝት ጨርቅ) ልዘርጋ:: ጠል (ዝናብ) በጸምሩ ላይ ይውረድ:: ዳር ዳሩ ግን ይቡስ (ደረቅ) ይሁን" አለ:: በጠዋትም እንዳለው ሆኖ አገኘው:: +በጸምሩ ላይ የወረደውን ጠል ጨምቆ በመንቀል ሞልቶ ቢጠጣው ሰማያዊ ኃይል ወረደለት:: ጥያቄውን አሁንም ቀጠለ:: "ጌታ ሆይ! እንደ ገናም ነገሩ ይቀየርልኝ:: ጠል በጸምሩ ላይ አይውረድ:: ዳር ዳሩ ግን ይውረድበት" አለ:: +እንዳለውም ሆነ:: ይህ ሁሉ ምሳሌ ነው:: ለጊዜው ጸምር የእሥራኤል: ጠል የረድኤት: ምድር የአህዛብ ምሳሌ ነው:: ጠል በጸምር እንጂ በምድር ላይ እንዳልወረደ ረድኤተ እግዚአብሔር ለእሥራኤል እንጂ ለአሕዛብ ያለ መደረጉ ምሳሌ ነው:: +አንድም ምሳሌውን ይለውጧል:: ጠል የሚለውን ብቻ እንቀይረውና ጠል የመቅሰፍት ምሳሌ: በ2ኛው ጠል በምድር ላይ እንጂ በጸምር ላይ እንዳልወረደ: መቅሰፍቱም እሥራኤልን ትቶ በአሕዛብ ላይ ወርዷልና:: ( ይህ ጊዜአዊ ምሥጢሩ ነው:: ) +አማናዊ ምሥጢሩ ግን ወደ ሐዲስ ኪዳን ያመጣናል:: ጸምር የእመቤታችን: ጠል የጌታ ምሳሌ:: ጠል በጸምር እንጂ በምድር ላይ አለመውረዱ ጌታ ከድንግል ማርያም ብቻ መወለዱን ያሳያል:: +በ2ኛው ምሳሌ ደግሞ ጠል የፍዳ: የመርገም ምሳሌ ይሆናል:: ጠል በምድር ላይ እንጂ በጸምር ላይ አለመውረዱ ድንግል ማርያም ፍዳ መርገም የሌለባት ንጽሕት መሆኗን ያሳያል:: +ይህ ሁሉ የተደረገለት ጌዴዎንም በወገኖቹ መካከል አዋጅ አስነግሮ 32ሺ ሠራዊትን ሰበሰበ:: ግን እግዚአብሔር የእሥራኤላውያንን ክፋት (ማለትም በራሳችን ኃይል አሸነፍን) እንደሚሉ ያውቃልና "የፈራ ይመለስ በል" አለው:: +22ሺ ሠራዊት ፈርቶ ተመለሰ:: ምክንያቱም የምድያም ሠራዊት ከ100ሺ በላይ ነበርና:: አሁንም "10ሺው ብዙ ነው:: ወደ ወንዝ አውርደህ ለያቸው" አለው:: ጌዴዎንም ወደ ወንዝ አውርዶ "ውሃ ጠጡ" አላቸው:: +ከ10ሺው 300ው በእጃቸው እየጠለፉ ሲጠጡ 9,700 ያህል ሰራዊት ግን ተጐንብሰው በአፋቸው ጠጡ:: በዚህም "ሌሎቹን (የተጐነበሱትን) አስመልሰህ በ300ው ተዋጋ" ተባለ:: +እርሱም 300ውን ተከታዮቹን ይዞ: መለከትና መብራት በሸክላ ይዞ በምድያም ሠራዊት አካባቢ አደረ:: በዚያች ሌሊትም ጌዴዎንና ሠራዊቱ በምድያም መካከል ገብተው እንስራቸውን ሰበሩ:: +መለከቱንም ነፉ:: እንደ አንበሳም "ኃይል ዘእግዚአብሔር: ኩዊናት ዘጌዴዎን - ኃይልን ከእግዚአብሔር: ጦርን ከጌዴዎን" እያሉ ገጠሙ:: +በድንጋጤ የተመቱት ምድያማውያንም እርስ በርሳቸው ተዋግተው በአንድ ሌሊት ብቻ 102,000 ሠራዊት አለቀባቸው:: ቀሪዎቹም ወገኖቻቸው አፈሩ:: እሥራኤል ግን በፈጣሪያቸው ኃይል ተፈሩ:: ጌዴዎንም ለ40 ዓመታት እሥራኤልን አስተዳድሮ በዚህች ቀን ዐርፏል:: (መሣ. 6:1---8:35) +"+ ማርያም እህተ ሙሴ +"+ =>ይህች እናት የሊቀ ነቢያት ቅዱስ ሙሴና የሊቀ ካህናቱ ቅዱስ አሮን ትልቅ እህት ስትሆን ወላጆቿ እንበረምና ዮካብድ ይባላሉ:: እሥራኤል ከግብጽ ባርነት እንዲወጡ የእርሷን ያህል አስተዋጽኦ ያደረገች ሴት የለችም:: +ከመነሻውም ቅዱስ ሙሴን የጠበቀች: በሕግ በሥርዓት እንዲያድግ ከእናቱ ጋር ያገናኘች: ወገኖቿ ከግብጽ ሲወጡም ሴቶችን የመራች እናት ናት:: ወንድሞቿን ሙሴንና አሮንንም ታገለገላቸው ነበር:: በተለይ እግዚአብሔር ባሕረ ኤርትራን የብስ ሲያደርጋት ከበሮን አንስታ "ንሴብሖ ለእግዚአብሔር" ብላ ፈጣሪዋን አመስግናለች:: (ዘጸ. 15:20) +አንድ ጊዜም "ኢትዮዽያዊቷን ሲፓራን ለምን አገባህ" በሚል ስለ ተናገረችው እግዚአብሔር ተቆጥቶ በለምጽ መቷታል:: (ዘኁ. 12:1) ቆይቶም በቅዱሱ ምልጃ ምሯታል:: ማርያም በመንገድ ሳሉ: ወደ ርስት ሳይደርሱ ዐርፋ ተቀብራለች:: (ዘኁ. 20:1) =>አምላከ ኃያላን መንፈሳዊ ኃይልን ልኮ ጠላትን ያድክምልን:: ከወዳጆቹ በረከትም ይክፈለን:: =>ታሕሳስ 16 ቀን የሚከበሩ ዓመታዊ የቅዱሳን በዓላት= 1.ቅዱስ ጌዴዎን ኃያል 2.ማርያም እህተ ሙሴ
