As initially announced on Pi2Day, the Pi Wallet now integrates Onramper, a third-party, KYB-verified on-ramp aggregator that simplifies on-ramp services for Pioneers. This integration offers a streamlined way to participate in the Mainnet ecosystem! Onramper can be accessed through the Pi Wallet where Pioneers can choose from available KYB-compliant on-ramp services and utilize the one they prefer, subject to each on-ramps’ regional availability and other restrictions. Note: the only KYB-verified on-ramp partners are Onramp. money, Transfi and Banxa.

Remember you can voluntarily choose to lock up your Pi to boost your mining rate! You can set your pre-migration Lockups (if you haven’t migrated to Mainnet) via the “Mainnet” tab in the Pi app menu. Important message for Pioneers who have not migrated to Mainnet yet: Check Step 3 of the Mainnet Checklist to make sure you’ve completed two-factor authentication for your Pi Wallet! This is an essential requirement for Mainnet migration.

Node Version 0.5.2 was released on Pi2Day 2025! Among numerous other updates, the Pi Node app was renamed “Pi Desktop” to be more general to include current and future integrations, including access to the Pi App Studio. Caution—scammers may create fake Pi Wallet pages that appear the same as the authentic Pi Wallet on the Pi Browser but with misleading URLs to steal Pioneers' passphrase data and empty their Pi accounts. Since the Pi Browser is a browser like Chrome or Safari, it's ultimately up to the individual Pioneer to determine the safety and legitimacy of the sites and URLs they visit. Beware of scams using fake websites, fake emails, and misleading ads that imitate the Pi Wallet or Core Team members.

Gaming is a strong fit for driving fun, engagement, and utility in the Pi ecosystem.
