When I worked on Revealing Revelation in 2021–2022, the Holocaust often filled my thoughts. I could almost feel John the Beloved’s anguish as he wept, realizing that no one was worthy to open the scroll—the scroll that contained God’s righteous judgment upon a wicked and fallen world. But since October 7, 2023, a new image has been etched into my heart. The depth of evil revealed on that day reminds me that this world’s wickedness cannot and will not go unpunished. Justice will come—not through human hands, but through the righteous Judge Himself. The King of the Jews, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll. He will judge, and He will reign. “And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
