A Slice of the “Caribe Gaúcho”, Southern Brazil Ponta do Bojuru, in São José do Norte (RS), is often called the “Caribe Gaúcho” for its white sandbanks, dunes and palm trees along the Patos Lagoon, a scene that feels almost tropical at the far southern tip of Brazil. The water, however, changes color with the weather: when the sea pushes into the lagoon it turns clearer and more transparent; after rains, river water brings a darker, sand‑toned hue that is completely natural. More than a debate about water color, the nickname is a warm, local way of valuing and promoting tourism in Rio Grande do Sul. Bojuru is an authentic piece of the state, a refuge of nature, simplicity and a quieter, very real kind of beauty.

A European Dream in Buenos Aires Golden light on mirrors and chandeliers, marble, wood and glass that look like a postcard from another century—yet it is only morning coffee in downtown Buenos Aires. The hum of waiters, the clink of cups and the trays of pastries crossing the room turn Confitería La Ideal into a small theater where the city dresses up its everyday life just a little. Between the high ceilings, tango memories and the smell of fresh coffee, it becomes clear this is not Europe at all, but something else: a very Porteño kind of elegance that belongs only to Buenos Aires.

𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 After days of wind hammering the plateau around Caviahue, Salto del Agrio finally appears in full color: volcanic walls stained in reds and oranges, a deep green pool, and a column of water that drowns out every other sound. Hours of driving from Varvarco, and days of waiting for the weather to calm down, all collapse into a single viewpoint on the edge of the canyon, where time slows and the landscape feels almost unreal. Between the roar of the fall, the spray rising from the pool, and the mineral colors painted on the rock, it becomes clear why this corner of Neuquén leaves such a mark on those who reach it, and why one visit is rarely enough.

𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗥𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗼 Morning light hits the curve of Copacabana Beach like a celebration—umbrellas opening, kids running, vendors calling out mate gelado and biscoito Globo. The mountains surrounding the city seem to protect this iconic crescent of sand, where the rhythm slows just enough to make every ordinary Sunday feel cinematic. Between the sea, the sounds, and the smiles, it’s easy to understand why Cariocas call this not just a beach but a way of life: warmth, spontaneity, and a contagious joy that belongs to Rio alone. @copacabanabeach
