Children Among Victims in Russian Strikes on Ukraine After Trump-Putin Summit Shelved At least seven people, including two children, were killed as Russia launched heavy drone and missile attacks across Ukraine. A kindergarten in Kharkiv was struck, injuring several children, while in the Kyiv region a woman, a six-month-old baby, and a 12-year-old girl died when their home in Pohreby caught fire. The attacks came hours after U.S. President Donald Trump postponed a planned summit with Vladimir Putin, calling it “not the right time.” President Zelensky, now in Norway, said the strikes show Moscow feels no pressure to stop the war.
