Inscriptions.place Protocol Launches on Everscale! ✨ A new service called Inscriptions.place, a v0.0.1 beta protocol + service builder, has launched on Everscale! 🎆 Inscriptions.place allows users to issue their own inscriptions in the form of EEP20 tokens and graphical NFTs and also includes a naming service (to be launched soon). 🔜 In the protocol, inscription costs 0.001 EVER. It costs 0.001 EVER to create a new token, 0.001 EVER to mint an existing token. 🖼️ The first 100 inscriptions, numbered from 1 through 100, are graphic NFTs, which are images of the most popular paintings created by international artists. They will be offered for sale at the launch of the marketplace. In the near future, Inscriptions.place will launch marketplace tokens and NFTs, as well as a system for conducting IIOs (Initial Inscription Offerings) and NFT drops. Additionally, the UX/UI of the service will be redesigned, as it is now operating in an MVP model. Each new inscription gets its own unique sequential number in ascending order. As is the case with Bitcoin, Dot, BnB, TON and other blockchains where inscriptions have gained popularity, the earlier the inscription number, the more valuable it is. EVER trading halting on Bithumb Trading for EVER pairings will end on Bithumb on January 22nd at 3pm and withdrawals and deposits will no longer be available after February 23rd at 3pm (both times KST). The decision to end trading was made by foundation members, not the exchange, as a means of protecting holders and comes as we, in agreement with the exchange, are currently submitting an application for listing the new version of the token with Bithumb. In the meantime, the newly issued WEVER is being traded normally on Coinone and other exchanges. Next week, we will be hosting an exclusive AMA for our Korean community to address the current situation and explain our future outlook.

Everscale Network and Bithumb Exchange Announce Joint Measures for old WEVER Token swap December 22, 2023 – Everscale DeFi Alliance on behalf of Everscale Network, in collaboration with Bithumb Exchange, announces a series of decisive actions in response to recent suspicious trading activity with the WEVER (Wrapped EVER ERC-20) token. Key Actions and Developments: In light of the suspicious activities observed with the WEVER token, both Everscale and Bithumb have diligently explored a range of solutions. This included potential token swaps and manual swaps by users as well as other potential solutions. Following thorough discussions and a deep evaluation of potential impacts, Everscale and Bithumb have mutually agreed to enable the withdrawal old WEVER ERC-20 tokens (smart-contract address 0x29d578cec46b50fa5c88a99c6a4b70184c062953) from Bithumb, while keeping deposits closed. Furthermore, trading activities for the old WEVER token will be permanently suspended. This measure aims to facilitate all EVER token holders in applying for a token swap in accordance with the official procedures outlined by the Everscale DeFi Alliance. The detailed procedure can be accessed here. This solution is designed to ensure full compliance with Korean cryptocurrency regulation laws and the decisions of EverDAO. Everscale is committed to applying for a listing of a new Wrapped EVER ERC-20 contract (smart-contract address 0x1ffefd8036409cb6d652bd610de465933b226917) on Bithumb as a distinct token. The listing of new Wrapped EVER ERC-20 token is subject to Bithumb discretion. EVER fully back on majority of exchanges as network moves forward ✅ We have welcome news for everyone involved with the Everscale network. The team has been hard at work to ensure that there is no fallout from what happened last month and the network is able to continue growing. As a result of those efforts, EVER has been reintegrated fully to a majority of the exchanges that previously supported it, including: - MEXC - Gate.⁣io - Coinone - HTX - KuCoin That's not all and there will be more to follow. Key to this reintegration has been the release of a new version of EVER with the following ERC-20 address: 0x1ffefd8036409cb6d652bd610de465933b226917 🔥With the new version of the token in circulation, tonight we have burnt 49 million of the old version of wrapped EVER tokens. Upon completion of all procedures by the time specified in the DAO, all of old tokens will be rendered completely useless. Ultimately, we expect that token losses stemming from the theft will amount to no more than 10% of the stolen amount. With this ordeal behind us, EVER will be able to resume its role as the flagship network token and continue its expansion.
