The Armed Forces of Nigeria have announced the successful execution of precision airstrikes against identified foreign ISIS-linked t+rrorist elements operating in parts of the Northwest, in close collaboration with the United States. Explosions Rock Kwara State on Christmas Night, Following U.S. Airstr+ke in the North East. Explosions were reported late Thursday night, Christmas Day, in the ancient town of Offa, Kwara State, sparking fear among residents and causing damage to property. Tribune gathered that the blasts occurred around midnight at two locations.  Eyewitnesses said buildings were affected near the Eid praying ground, while a second explosion happened close to Solid Worth Hotel, a short distance away. An undetonated explosive device was later found at the second site, leading security agencies to cordon off the areas. The cause and nature of the explosions have not been officially confirmed. Confirming the incident, the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of Offa Local Government, Abiola Azeez Babatunde, said the council was aware of reports of a suspected ordnance-related incident near the Eid praying ground.
