This time less number of people have cleared Mains-2025 from Gujarat. Dropped from 70 (2024) to 49 (2025) I think one of the reason could be PSIR में scaling-normalisation ज़्यादा हुआ है। even last year ki CSE-2024-cycle (some) toppers with PSIR had got not so high marks but were saved by essay/ethics/interviews. so if they (UPSC) finetuned the PSIR scaling-formula further, this can happen. But we can only know for sure after the final result comes next year after interview.
