Prosecutors now argue he should be denied whistleblower protections due to a lack of “expert credentials,” despite their own expert not reviewing the full dataset. The decision in this case is being closely watched, as it may set a precedent for how future whistleblowers are treated and whether transparency can prevail over institutional secrecy.
