All healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, laboratory scientists, support staff etc) with a high level of exposure to cases of #diphtheria should ensure to get vaccinated. Ensure to take necessary precautions when handling suspected or confirmed cases of #diphtheria. #StaySafeStayHealthy

Did You Know: #Meningitis is a top cause of acquired deafness in children? Get them vaccinated! Parents/caregivers are urged to visit any primary health care centre close to them to get their children/wards vaccinated against #meningitis. #TakeResponsibility

#LassaFever is treatable. Report early to a healthcare facility when experiencing #LassaFever-associated symptoms. Early symptoms include fever, body weakness, sore throat, muscle & chest pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, cough & abdominal pain.

Human-to-human spread of #LassaFever is possible through direct contact with the body fluids of an infected individual. Avoid direct contact with body fluids or personal belongings of persons suspected or confirmed with #Lassafever. Take extra precautions to protect yourself and those around you. #StaySafeStayHealthy

Do NOT eat food or drink water contaminated with the urine, faeces, saliva, or blood of rats. Food safety is key in the prevention of #LassaFever: ✅Store all foods properly in tightly closed containers ✅Ensure proper hygiene when preparing & eating food #STOPLassaFever
