President Trump has nominated Dr. Brian Christine as the Assistant Secretary for Health. Christine is a career urologist wo has practiced in Alabama for many years. His primary focus has been on men's health, and that is what he will focus on in his new HHS role. Christine will lead the development of a men’s health initiative within the Department of Health and Human Services. The focus will be on men's nutrition, strength and physical fitness, with a particular focus on male fertility: “We have to figure out why testosterone rates and sperm rates are falling because they're linked to each other." he said. A three-judge panel says the government CAN take money away from Planned Parenthood. Here's the timeline since July. Part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act was to bar Medicaid funding for non-profit family planning services (e.g. Planned Parenthood) if (a) they perform abortions and (2) received more than $800,000 from the government healthcare program during the 2023 fiscal year. A lower court judge swiftly blocked it but this week, a federal appeals court ruled that Trump's provision stands and is NOT unconstitutional. Planned Parenthood stated that Trump was intentionally punishing them and that their health centers are pushed to the financial brink. PP says that 20 health centers have closed since July (e.g. lack of Medicaid funding). PP leaders say Trump's administration is "blocking access to care for patients most in need." So, PP may be here no matter what, but they'll have to do it without our taxpayer money. Are we taking a whole new road that will lead to ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as effective cancer treatments, and will the MSM report on it? It appears that way, given HHS Secretary RFK Jr.'s appointment of Yale professor emeritus Harvey Risch as chair of the President’s Cancer Panel within the National Cancer Institute. Risch has long been a proponent of both medications, and in his new role, he will ensure rigorous studies on ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as potential cancer treatments. Risch also highlighted prevention’s underappreciated role in cancer therapy. He suggested that pharmaceutical companies could develop safe, low-cost prevention medications they could patent. Risch wants to enhance public information on reducing cancer risks, noting tobacco smoking as the top preventable lifestyle factor, and emerging dietary links like inflammatory foods. He ranked cooking oils by inflammatory potential on social media, and recommends better options. He wants to get the word out that stomach cancers are associated with smoked and processed meats. Soooo glad to wake up and see this news this morning!! Just last week, the AAP went rogue, countering the ACIP recommendation on Hep B. See my post here: https://t.me/DrTenpenny/43602 Now, HHS has done what was needed a LONG time ago...cut AAP funding. Seven grants worth nearly $20M have been cut by the HHS and CDC. The reason? Misalignment with agency priorities, like the use of DEI language which agencies have already been warned about. More importantly, the grants lack focus on nutrition and chronic disease prevention. Federal statute allows cancellation when awards no longer advance agency goals. Of course, AAP says they are exploring options to counter, including legal recourse. The grants supported efforts to reduce sudden infant deaths, improve teen and young adult health, prevent birth defects like fetal alcohol syndrome, and enable early autism detection.

Last Friday, the FDA said it would likely place a black box warning on Covid-19 mRNA vaccines. Now, in a STUNNING reversal, the FDA says it will NOT issue such a warning, despite its own safety committee advising to do so. They did not issue a press release or conference. Instead, FDA Commissioner Marty Makary shared the news during a news interview. He didn't take personal responsibility either, but instead said the decision was from the agency’s top vaccine official, Dr Vinay Prasad. Prasad said the early signals from the two doses given close together (Pfizer, Moderna) do not apply to today's COVID vaccine which is given annually. So he does not recommend a black box warning. During the same interview, Makary acknowledged that the COVID vaccine had indeed killed children. Really trying to understand what is going on at the FDA.
