People have, sadly, lost their minds on all sides of every political issue. I think limitless time on the Internet drives a man to borderline insanity and causes him to rethink everything he knows or believes to be true and factual. One year ago, it was “if only we can get Trump back in there, everything will be OK.” I ran a poll a few days ago that shows almost all of the base strongly approves of the administration’s work. Yet there are those who no longer find any value in the political discourse, forgetting that it’s a big country with a lot of views. There are also those on our own side who will toss everything aside if you don’t believe in their worldview 100%. In some ways, they’re no different than liberals who cancel over anything. Free your brains, be careful what you read online, and verify things for yourself. Politics will never yield the Utopia you want. It is simply a tool to hopefully improve life, restrain evil, ensure freedoms are not trampled, and encourage your participation. Go outside and enjoy the creation.

For the World Series, I must go back into baseball mode. You just witnessed one of the dumbest managerial moves ever, pulling future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer in the fifth inning, for a young lefty who won’t be known in 10 years to get beaten by two future Hall of Famers, Ohtani and Freeman. Computers can’t figure out everything. That was a horrific blunder and I’ll bet the turning point of the Series. You let Hall of Famers play in the World Series.

If you’re wondering why the bet markets tanked on Trump, it’s because Ann Selzer, formerly thought to be the “gold standard” pollster of Iowa, dumped a Harris +3 for Iowa. The far from MAGA pollster Emerson dropped a Trump +10.5 one hour before to cut her off at the pass, and Atlas (most accurate of 2020) dropped a poll with Trump winning all swing states right after it. Selzer has Iowa dead on the last two races. For the record, Iowa has moved from R+1 to R+10.3 in the last 4 years and with GOP gains in all 99 counties. The GOP leads early voting after losing it by 12% last time but winning the state by 8. Iowa will go to Trump by 12. This poll was dumped to mislead about the rest of the Midwest and was leaked to key Dems before it was published. It should be investigated as an anti-corruption measure and we should know what Selzer was paid or threatened with.

Mass Incompetence or Collusion?   Why has the state of Florida stopped following the law?   Per FL state law, the Supervisors of Elections (SOEs) MUST check and remove deceased individuals within 7-days of notice.   They all appeared to be following the law up to April of 2024.   Then at the same time the Republican Party of Florida went on the warpath with MAGA Republicans here, SOEs in every county except for Sarasota appear to stop following the law and not removing ANYONE FROM THE VOTER ROLLS FOR OVER 17 MONTHS NOW.
