It’s interesting how everything now gets blamed on “the radical left.” Charlie’s death? The radical left. Public anger? The radical left. Institutional failures? The radical left. Yes, mainstream media has manipulated people. But when one label becomes responsible for everything, it stops being analysis and turns into propaganda. And if you think you’re immune to propaganda because you’re conservative or on the right, it’s worth paying attention to how those same narratives echo in your own circles. Of course the “radical left” exists, but they’re only one small part of a much bigger problem. Fixating on them as the “sole enemy” conveniently avoids a harder conversation about the systems, incentives, and power structures that manipulate all sides. At some point, real discernment means looking beyond one group and asking who actually benefits from keeping everyone divided.
