It also sets a major precedent in favor of federalism… Overall, President Trump’s concerns about varied state laws slowing progress is valid, but centralized control can become very dangerous. For example— Past federal overreach, like PRISM surveillance, shows how a single AI standard could enable biased algorithms or censorship by a malicious administration. State sovereignty offers checks against such abuses. I’ve said it before — I trust my President has the best intentions in mind, but what safeguards are there in place for future admins?
