Live from Copacabana and Ipanema – 16.12.2025 A December 16 live stream wanders along Rio’s oceanfront, where Copacabana’s four‑kilometer curve of yellow sand and its black‑and‑white wave mosaic boardwalk meet the Atlantic, framed by kiosks, bars and constant beach life. This is the classic Rio promenade: people walking, running, playing beach volleyball and sipping coconut water under palm trees, with Sugarloaf on the horizon and music drifting from the kiosks day and night. Crossing toward Ipanema, the mood shifts but stays unmistakably carioca, with whiter sand, a younger crowd and the silhouette of the Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers) mountain closing the view at the western end. At sunset, especially near Arpoador between Ipanema and Copacabana, people clap as the sun goes down, turning an ordinary weekday into an open‑air cinema of sky, sea and city that explains why a quick two‑hour visit to the beach so often turns into an entire day by the water.
