🅾️State Election Commission (SEC)-concerns about electoral rolls containing duplicate and missing entries.
🅾️Differences Between Maharashtra SEC Exercise and Bihar SIR- Watch this video for Bihar SIR - The SEC cannot add or delete names. It must use the existing Assembly electoral roll (prepared by the ECI) and apply filters/manual checks to that list to bifurcate it into local body wards.
🅾️The SEC is challenged on the feasibility of its short-term plan (e.g., using four filters, collecting voter undertakings) to fix an already defective ECI-prepared list.

🚫Step 2 : confirm the type of explosive and its potential source- methods like Solvent Extraction & Sieving, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDX) are used.

✅Gs-3 : Economic growth- Government Policy on SEZs
🅾️Context : SEZs are geographically isolated duty-free enclaves, treated as foreign territory for trade operations. The primary goal is export promotion. Domestic Tariff Area(DTA) is the rest of India where customs law applies.
🅾️The SEZ Act governs the operations, incentives (duty-free imports/procurement), and restrictions, such as the limit on domestic sales (currently restricted/via reverse job work duties).Job work means processing goods supplied by the DTA unit and sending them back. The 'Reverse Job Work' issue arises when SEZ units want to sell their final products into the DTA.
🅾️So this new policy now aims to transform SEZs from mere export hubs to integrated industrial zones serving both global and domestic needs.

🅾️What? - An international agreement/treaty (adopted in 1973, in force from 1975) to ensure that trade in wild animals and plants does not threaten their survival.
🅾️Members: It has 184 Parties (countries), including India (since 1976).
