HHS is also taking action to remove gender dysphoria as a disability, and sending “warning letters” to breast binder manufacturers. A breast binder is a garment designed to compress and flatten the chest, often used by transgender and non-binary individuals to create a more masculine appearance or alleviate gender dysphoria.

President Trump has nominated Dr. Brian Christine as the Assistant Secretary for Health. Christine is a career urologist wo has practiced in Alabama for many years. His primary focus has been on men's health, and that is what he will focus on in his new HHS role. Christine will lead the development of a men’s health initiative within the Department of Health and Human Services. The focus will be on men's nutrition, strength and physical fitness, with a particular focus on male fertility: “We have to figure out why testosterone rates and sperm rates are falling because they're linked to each other." he said. A three-judge panel says the government CAN take money away from Planned Parenthood. Here's the timeline since July. Part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act was to bar Medicaid funding for non-profit family planning services (e.g. Planned Parenthood) if (a) they perform abortions and (2) received more than $800,000 from the government healthcare program during the 2023 fiscal year. A lower court judge swiftly blocked it but this week, a federal appeals court ruled that Trump's provision stands and is NOT unconstitutional. Planned Parenthood stated that Trump was intentionally punishing them and that their health centers are pushed to the financial brink. PP says that 20 health centers have closed since July (e.g. lack of Medicaid funding). PP leaders say Trump's administration is "blocking access to care for patients most in need." Isn't it interesting how they always keep it general, "patients in need", but all the narrative is about abortions? https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/court-rejects-planned-parenthoods-challenge-trump-backed-law-ending-medicaid-2025-12-13/ on Friday that a provision of U.S. President Donald Trump's signature tax and domestic policy bill that deprives Planned Parenthood and local affiliates that perform abortions of Medicaid funding is not an unconstitutional punishment. So, PP may be here no matter what, but they'll have to do it without our taxpayer money.
