📜 The one connection David Lynch never makes here, which is odd considering how dark his own work was, is that when you truly forgive and let things go, it allows the meta-forms of those same dark things to re-arise from your subconscious in the form of the dark ideas he then puts back on the screen. That story is now where the darkness gets to live on. It's like catching a ghost in a jar and feeding it small doses of human fear anytime someone watches the movie or reads the story. It's actually like a way of transmuting your fear into love through the medium of story, because the fear is voluntary and experienced as a thrill.
