✅Gs-2 : Governance- Tribal Governance- balancing act between two Constitutional duties: the Duty to Protect Wildlife ( Article 48A) and the duty to protect tribal rights ( Article 46, Schedule V/VI). so before any relocation is proposed, the rights of forest dwellers (Scheduled Tribes and others) must be formally settled under the FRA, 2006.Eviction is not automatic just because an area is declared a Tiger Reserve. Relocation must be voluntary. The new policy specifies that consent must be verifiable not just at the Gram Sabha level, but also at the household level.
